Hey everyone. I hope everyone is safe and healthy. I haven't been on or posting as business and life is just super hectic right now. But all has been well here and I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary of moving into the big shop last year.

On top of that I was finally able to bring home my dream car since I was a little kid in the early 90s when they came out. This is a 2006 SRT10 Viper. In the stunning viper blue metallic with silver stripes.

Saturday my friend and I flew out to Michigan to seal the deal and then drive it 12hrs home to Mass. I got in about 11pm and was up at 5am in the shop getting it dialed in. Overall the paint was in very nice shape only needing minor correction before being coated. I still need to do a wheels off service when time permits. But with all the race cars and other fast cars I've had there's always been something that's drawn me to these cars.

Filling up and heading home

I thought that since I was already browsing
through my old ’Funk & Wagnalls Standard
Encyclopedia’
, I’d go ahead and look up what
they had listed for the definition of the word
“Testosterone". Sure enough: “Viper SRT10".

You snagged a beauty…Congratulations!

Awesome Mopar snake, Justin. :righton:

That made my night. I always like the blue vipers with stripes:)

One thing the Viper has always done well is had the look and performance of a supercar without the ridiculous price and insane maintenance/repair costs.

Just a hunch but I don’t see this vehicle depreciating much, if at all, and possibly appreciating quite a bit over the years.

Congratulations, now go find some curves and long desolate straights!

What did you get for mileage on your long trip home?

Congrats!!! Best color combo IMO! Looks GREAT! Enjoy it and have fun!!

Congrats Justin! I’ve always had a soft spot for Vipers to.

Sweet ride. Always liked how Vipers look.

I've always thought they looked like a Peter Brock-penned Shelby Daytona. Not surprising since the inspiration of the car was to be a modern-day "Cobra". Even given a snake name ... by no less than Giorgetto Giugiaro !

I don't think "depreciation" is even in the vocabularly when speaking of Vipers ... unless it's one in the scrap yard.

Agree on color. White with "Cunningham racing stripes" (U.S. international racing colors) would have been nice too, if it had been available.

Beautiful car. Disregard the dislike. I clicked it by accident and can't edit it.

Thanks guys. Yeah the viper market has gone nuts over the past year. And your absolutely right about the lines. They just have that certain look.

Believe it or not I was averaging 20-21mpg cruising 80-85mph. 1400rpm in 6th cruising. 3.08 rear gear loafs along on the highway

I was waiting for this since seeing it on Instagram. Beauty! Where at in Michigan did you get it?
