Welcome to AGO!

You will certainly learn a lot on this forum.

Word of advice - remember this is a forum with many, many opinions about many products, techniques, etc. Try not to get overwhelmed, keep it simple an figure out what works best for you (by trying). The best way to maintain your car is that which you find makes *you* happy.

Nick, how would you compare Optimum spray wax to V7 in terms of shine and durability? I use Optimum now and love it, but if V7 is a better product I would have to try some out.

I'd give an edge to Optimum Spray Wax in terms of durability. V7 has an advantage in the sense that it can be used to remove light dust and dirt.

I'd personally have a bottle of both on hand. ;)

Nick if it where up to you and me I would have 1 of everything in the store. :xyxthumbs: your making me go broke and closer to being divorced. For some reason when I explain to the wife that "nick suggest I should have this on hand just in case" my argument doesn't fly and it's 5 across the eye for me.

Go into her closet, point and then with a real stern voice, say; "I'm not the only one that has a problem!"

Then kindly ask what's for dinner and then walk away.

Just used this for the first time today. All I can say is that the easy of use and slickness is fantastic! CG impresses once again.

I agree, this is good stuff. Truth be told, though, I cannot say for sure it works better than Blackfire Deep Gloss Spray Sealant (also a spray QD+selant) or the new forumula 'BF Wet Diamond Polymer Spray '.

I'm thinking about picking up a bottle of this stuff but I'm curious how it would compare (or differ) with the Sonus acrylic spritz quick detailer spray.

I've been using that both after washing and between washes.

Have a gallon here as well. Great thing is, a little goes a long way so this will last for a looong time

How is it compared to Dodo Acrylic Spritz in terms of looks and slickiness? Anyone?

Similar. The Dodo spritz (DAS) should offer more protection. I have both and usually go with the HV7...it's more QD like.

Both are very nice.

I love the CG V-7 product, been using it for about a year. I did just get my first taste of Blackfire Wet Diamond on bogo recently and must say I find them both very comparable on my Black GC. I'd have to give a very slight edge on the shine side to the BF. Either product you can't go wrong, or better yet get both.

You mean poly spray?

If so I agree both are great and hard to beat! V7 has a little more QD aspect to it IMO though. Poly Spray is the business after a wash!!!!!!!:dblthumb2:

The main problem I have is Blackfire WDPS streaks like crazy on vinyl stripes and just doesn't work well on it. V7 never has any issues with it, also WDPS attracts bugs for me? I don't know if anyone else had this problem.

Never had Blackfire attract any bugs to my car...

What exactly do you mean by that? Do you walk outside in the morning and have to brush the bugs off of your door handle so you can get into the car?
