If you apply BL with a blue or red finessing pad with no pressure its like applying a sealant. I'd go glaze with DA/finishing pad, then 2 coats BL by hand, then V7. I promise you its worth the effort. The glaze works perfect applying it prior to BL. Also BL does have very mild abrasives in the same category as Menz PO85rd. In fact I've replace PO85rd with BL as a final polish step with a black or tangerine polishing pad... but BL can do what PO85rd can't like lay down protection and act as a glaze, and it's the perfect foundation product prior to any sealant or wax. I use it on every car. Try in on door jams or under the hood and trunk areas too.
