Not sure why you're only getting a few days after applying the dressing.
I get two weeks out of one application , looks nice for the entire two weeks then it's time to clean and dress again.
Make sure the tires are super clean, sometimes you must clean them a couple of times to make sure nothing from the past is present.
Make sure the tires are completely dry, even though they look dry doesn't mean they are completely dry.
I put two light, even coats, I wait an hour before I apply the second coat, I want to make sure it absorbs the product fully.
The tips I just gave may seem like, Duh I know that but if you apply the dressing on a slightly dirty tire you won't get great results.
It's truly an amazing dressing not only for tires but also for the interior , I apply it to my dash to protect it from the sun, it's water based so you do get that oily feel to it:dblthumb2:
Oh, works wonders on my dress shoes too:dblthumb2:
A lot of Geeks have major issues with CG. I don't know why.
I really only clean my tire with car soap. That might be my problem. It looks good just put on, but I need to work on longevity.
Just reinforces my belief that:
Regardless of which faction of a discussion-topic, in which one finds themselves...
Polarization helps bring people of the AGO community closer.
I think we all can name products by every single car care company...that aren't very good.
My concern is the trash talking about how the company is run, personnel, etc. That's where threads like this are on the fine line between informational and confrontational.
I still feel the hate. CG runs the business the way they do. They never advertise on TV. They have grown almost by word of mouth. I'm sure they have some advertising and marketing program but it's not like the big guns out there. You have to be selling some products that work if you are growing almost by word of mouth.
They will private label for you. Heck some of us can be using some of the products and not even know it.
Meg's makes 3 different product lines. I'm willing to bet that some of the products are the same just in different bottles with a different product name on it.
The guy going to WalMart and buying a overpriced retail wheel cleaner is just paying for us to buy the "pro line" in bulk at a better price and helping to keep the R&D going by buying retail.
If you're talking about the bug ratio, no not really. I have included a link to my YT video. I chose 15:1 as I thought 20 was to weak, maybe if you had light bugs. 10 will be to strong. At 15 and with some car soap, Mr Pink, it makes a perfect combination.
I use a blue soft no plush microfiber that is used on glasses. I'll spray, agitate, and rinse off. I buy spray bottles from.....Sallys Beauty Supply!!! Their bottles are 16 oz so it's perfect, 15:1.
Please ask away. I have done many cars and its perfect for windows as well.

I mean how can one say they are too expensive... Gallon of "luber" is $14.99!
Hmm...worked pretty well. Do you remember how much Mr. Pink (exact measure) you put in the bottle?
