I talked to Bob Eichelberg again about this just yesterday, (December 19th, 2013), and he says he's read this thread and told me to assure everyone that the Flex tools will continue to be built at the Flex plant in Germany to the same high standards that has set the standard for Flex's reputation.
you just never know and time will tell. one thing you can count on with the flex is the QC and build quality will be top notch, a little better than the rupes IMO. in anycase, I look forward to seeing what the future holds for flex...
