Christmas came early from CarPro!

So is the Fixer meant to be a 1 step process? Wash, clay, Fixer...done? I'm a newb about to buy my first DA machine with todays Griot deal, wondering if this product would be a good pick up for ease of use? One coat with an orange pad perhaps and a second with a black? Or would this be best with a sealant or something on top as well?

CarPro has quickly become one of my favorite brands

Truth spoken here. Every product I have used of theirs has proven to be great. CQ, Reload, Eraser, Iron X. Now Ihave 3 new products to try after tomorrow!

I'm assuming that it's meant just as a polish. It says it's a good 1 step before CQuartz so I'm assuming an LSP is meant to be used after using Fixer

the polish seems to be like an all in one abrasive polish along the lines of the meguiars solo compound where you use one product but different pads to acheive great results...hope carpro makes sample sizes of the ceriglass and fixer polish, the ceriglass sample would be a great seller for people who just work on one vehicle and need to correct the glass...really need to get some car pro product.

edit: THANK YOU MEGHAN! reason why i say thanks is for telling the web techie to change the car pro listing to my suggestion! thanks alot makes it so much easier to find when i'm "window shopping"

you sold out of the 16 oz bottles of Fixer right beneath my feet. I was checking out and it still said you had them in stock then when I went to check out it said they're no longer available. :( I had to settle with the smaller bottle. I still got my Ceriglass I guess.

8oz of Fixer for $10 is worth the try.
Just ordered the 8oz and there was stock ;)

Wth I thought you guys had plenty. I made an order Thursday and it said the stuff was in stock now I get a notice for 2 weeks.....

Hi Guys

Fixer is a polish! , for any purpose from 1500 grit to finishing, not only for Cquartz.
this in NOT ordinary polish like you all know!
it must be learned how to use , and what pad to chose for the desired car !
we will show soon more info tip what and how to use it.
but definitely it must not be treated as conventional polish as Megs 3M etc..
some info about it:
Fixer tells you what it requires by how it is behaving on the paint type. You have to learn what fixer wishes you to do. If you choose the wrong option it will fight you back.
you need to work it similar to megs 205. By backing back the pressure and speed towards the end of the set. Also to work in a smaller controlled area with slow hand speed and machine speed. you will get the best from fixer. Providing only uses a small amount. 3 pea sized drops after the first set max.
max speed of around 1100rpm on the rotary
Starting and finishing off at 600. Take your time to build up the rpm so the lubrication becomes active also.......

fixer is diminishing polish. must polish until the compound is completely break down.
maximum speed using is 1100rpm! not more , for any job.
once you learned how to work with it , Fixer will save you a lot of working time compare to any other polish.
best pads to use with our polish are open cells pads.
we will show our polish pads line as well soon.

I believe the order's are automatically processd thru the warehouse and before they started packing my order,AG was depleted of their stock.
Yes it is a little upsetting, but how would their computer know(for the webstore site)they were out of stock?
HMMM now that I think about it,would not their computer system know how much product they have in the first place?? :dunno:
