Clay & Clay Experiment

Hi autogeeks,

I have contacted Bostik USA and this putty is definitely not available in the United States nor in Canada. It is made in Australia only. Danube was speaking about the white one. Bostik Australia sells the white one but it's packed with different colors. You cannot purchased the white one only.
Anyway Bostik Australia does not sell their products to consumers but they have resellers in Autralia and England ONLY. A thing is sure Bostik Australia is the manufactuerer for this putty and they sell it for craft use only and they told me "use it on a car at your own risks".

I found a site that has 4 different levels of polymer modeling clay...I think I'm going to order one of the middle ones and give it a try.

Hi,
My nephew is travelling from Los Angeles to Sidney once a month and he will check that... for sure I will try it not on my car but on a scrap panel.

I've been experimenting with polymer modeling clay. I buy it one pound at a time. It's very inexpensive. I currently have found a clay that works well but does leave a little residue. I use it but am still on the search for one that doesn't leave residue. I'll let everybody know when I find it.

There is no point in buying clay for 30 or 40 dollars. I'm convinced that there are alternatives like Blu Tack that does the exact same job for very little money. I will eventually find a bulk modeling clay that doesn't leave residue.

Anxious to try the Blu Tack in couple of weeks.....to follow
