I have Edge pads and use one side for one side of the vehicle and then flip to use the other, if your using the correct amount of polish/compound and breaking it down, you won't have to worry about slinging. Usually before I flip it I just give it a quick run at 6K opm to clear any loose particles.
If your pad is gunked up and you need to clean it and need to use it quickly, probably XMT Pad Cleaner/Conditioner would be your best bet, spray on, wait a couple seconds then clean in water and reuse (obviously spin the water out of the pad first).
Rub XMT into the pad. But the pic I put up, I just sprayed and rinsed. Depend on what polish you use and how dirty they are to how much cleaning you need to do..Whitethunder46 said:What's the best method for using XMT cleaner. Just spray it on, let sit, and rinse with warm? water? If you clean the pads the same day after polishing/waxing, do you ever have to scrub much? If so, can you just use your hands?
