Hey there my AG friends. I have a question regarding the use of an IPA wipedown on Cquartz after a rinseless wash. I have coated my dad's Mercedes-Benz E320 with regular Cquartz and have been mostly washing it with ONR. I know it leaves behind gloss enhancers which do streak on black paint when it hits the sun. I had previously used Pinnacle Crystal Mist to help clean that up but, it sometimes leaves its own streaks which are hard to buff off. I have read that some people use IPA to clean off coatings to bring back the beading qualities.
My question to everyone is, how often can you use IPA to clean off Cquartz or other coatings in general? Can I use it after every time I do a rinseless wash? I mixed my IPA at about 13%.
My next question is if I apply CarPro Reload to it, can I do regular rinseless washes on it without having streaks from the gloss enhancers in it? I try to avoid two bucket washes because our cars don't see the road much so it would be a waste of water for me.
Thanks to all of you and Merry Christmas!
