Coated my tires today and WOW,

So your car is coated too, which one?

Just regular CQuartz. The glass is Adam's Quick Sealant which has crazy long durability, and the windshield is G1, but I'll be removing it soon as I'm having very poor results with it.

As stated a few posts back there are good and bad results with this product. I applied 2 coats 2 weeks ago to my ford excape work vehicle and it still looks great but when applied to my personal truck last weekend not so much. It looks flat dingy and not as shiny as the Escape. Maybe I did not get my truck tires clean enough. I used some APC a few times and then the TW cleaner.

The other opps was that my truck tires have raised white outlined letters which are now dingy gray.

I'll try again this weekend end and see.

Yeah the black TW tire coating isn't going to go over good on white lettered tires.

Here's my tires after 5 wks and I actually sprayed the TW tire cleaner on them Sunday morning and scrubbed them real good because the sholders were dirty from being on a gravel road (long story). Afterwards I just dried them, that's it.

Looks fantastic. I just ordered some. Will try it this week on my car

I will say that inperson they're more "natrual" looking but I wash and wipe the car often, plus we've had our share of rain last week too.

This is just a hidden secret at your local auto parts store, period!

Bought some of this after seeing all the replies on this thread. Tried it on my mother-in-laws new Sante Fe first and then my car next. Here's some pics of my tires. I did two coats 10 minutes apart per directions and then a 3rd the next day. I'm happy with the look so far. We'll see how it holds up.

Welcome to the club!

I should say that on a DD its going to give you a solid month and I only say that for my own tastes, like the pic I posted earlier, the pic looks better than it does in person, although a simple swipe with my QD sprayed onto a seperate mf towel and swiping made the tires look a little bit better. I know this, on a "toy", you may only need to apply the TW once a season! Ofcoarse the amount of rain you drive in and how much you wash and how you wash the tires matters too. I usually just spray my pre-wash rinseless on the tires and dry them, but not this past Sunday.

I'm a lifer for this TW tire coating, no doubt about it!

It's funny because in the past who knows how long people around these forums would say they don't Like super glossy tires, then you post pics here and people act like that's not as glossy as I thought it would/should be. The only thing that lasts likes this is tuf shine and it's a real pain to get the prep perfect for many people. Most other products after one rain the tire looks like you pulled it out of a junk yard, or it's so built up with dirt and layered product that it's greasy as heck.

As long as TW sells the tire coating I'll buy it, it's a lot cheaper than Tuf-Shine, one bottle has allowed me to coat several tires, a little goes so far.
If you haven't tired it yet please do, it doesn't cost a lot and once your done coating them you'll be stunned at the results, TW hit it big with their coating.

Has anyone sent in their mail in rebate? I sent mine in with the form filled out along with my receipt and they sent it back saying it wasn't the official form so they wouldn't give me the rebate back.

I did but I don't think I got it back yet (got it sent to my house, not my college address). I printed out the form on their Facebook page; it was the only place I could find one.

That's what I printed out and they wouldn't accept it. Guess I'll have to give them a call.

I got mine, but I googled the form, didn't get it from facebook.

That weird. It says "Print out and mail in this rebate to save $7 on select Jet Black products. " right on their Facebook page.

Well this rebate makes a great product even better, I'm sure you guys will figure it all out.

I plan on re-applying the TW the first Sat in Oct so its fresh and ready to go for our Dragon run. Its a 625 mile drive there, then lots of hard driving while there and then another 625 miles back home, give or take, so this will be yet another test for the TW tire coating. Oh yeah, I'm driving to the D first, then down to the Dragon, so a bit more driving. There will be atleast 1 touch-free wash and I'm bringing my 2 buckets and 2 gallon hand pump to do proper rinseless washes while I'm there, adding to the test.

We all know how great it is but this will just add to the legend that is this tire coating, TW is on a roll, first their rinseless wash, now this tire coating, what's next, a paint coating???

I did the same thing. I just mailed it so I have not seen anything as of yet.

So the included cleaner isn't that good, what's a sutiable replacement that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? I love the TS stuff, but it's too pricey when I usually have to apply 4-6 coats. I've tried multiple APCs, and didn't get great results. I'm not expecting to find something dirt cheap, but cheaper than TS would be good :D
