Coated my tires today and WOW,

A truck came into the shop last week, the step nerf bar trim was shot, even after cleaning them well they still had this brown, nasty look to them.
I took my TW liquid coating and applied two coats on the trim, they looked new.
It surprised me some as to how well it restored the look.
I'm not sure how long it will hold up but I had one happy customer.
Also did the rear bumper.
I using the tire coating, not the trim coating?

Yes but buy the non aerosol kit. As far as doing the liners go, we'll, no one has done this yet! Can't wait to see the results but they must be really clean and although the kit comes with a cleaner You might wanna try a stronger cleaner to do the liners with or just use it all up and see how it does. The key here is make sure he surface is CLEAN before applying the coating. I would suggest 3 coats for the tires with 10 minutes in between each layer for proper drying. One last thing is tsmps, where do you live? If it's cool you'll need a heated garage for the product to work best, trust me/US

I had a coating previously on them and the tires called black pearl and I'm used a tire brush on them and scratched and partially removed the coating. I live in NJ so i may have to wait for a warm day or borrow a heater from a friend

With the turtle wax once It is applied you don't need to use a brush maybe a soft one if that is your choice of cleaning but just a mitt, sponge or MF would be fine to clean with

I shouldn't have used a brush with the previous one either but oh well

....and still no Browning Sy, awesome👍 I love your updates because we get to see the color of your car!!

I need to take a close up of mine after the 6-7 weeks it's been and all the snow and salt we've gotten this past week, pics coming tomorrow👈

Thank you. Strangely though, this one tire is slightly darker than the rest, but I still use this one for updates as when I first tried the product I had bonding issues, so it's possible the other tires still weren't perfectly clean.

I took this picture right as I pulled out of the garage, the ground was all wet and wanted a good pic before they got trashed again. As you can see after 6-7 weeks they still have a matte finish and no Browning to be found. Last week was really cold and snowy so we had a lot of salt laid down (see pic as your car currently sits thread) and the Turtle Wax tire coating has held up just fine. Without going back I'm not completely sure but my guess of 6-7 weeks is pretty close I'm sure.

I do have the DP tire coating kit waiting to be used come spring but it's got its work cut out for sure👈

LOL that it does! I'll take a pic of mom's snow tires on Wednesday. Outdoors 24/7 in our extreme weather, but honestly not driven much (she's a LOL who doesn't go outdoors when it's a bit to slippery to walk safely). She wants me to come over to clear off ten days' worth of ice and snow because it makes her sad when she looks out the window and doesn't see her shiny, coated car!

LOL I didn't even notice the trawler shilling his products a few posts up. Nobody responded hehehe.

I gotta say I've been very impressed with both TW Endura products, both the tire, and trim coatings.

The tires on both my Kia, and Tahoe have been holding up extremely well. Washed the Kia yesterday, have basically done zero to the tires, still looking great, been a couple months since application, and same with the new 22" Nitto 421Q's on the Hoe.

While I have Optimum's Opti-Bond, & Tire Shine, and also Carpro PERL on hand, in fact tons of it, and they are great products, I'm sort of liking these TW products better. Less work, and good looks for a lot longer time spells happiness in my book.

More details on the tw trim coat Mark!

The Trim Coating I used on the lower Moldings on the 2001 Kia I have.

I've tried boatloads of different products in the ten years I've had the car, WG WETS, Megs, Bondo, PERL, Opti-Bond, Armor All, it seemed none had the ability to last as long, and as well hide-mask years of age, and damage like the TW Endura.

About the only product I've never tried was Solution finish, or Carpro CQuartz DLX.

I have DLX on my Tahoe's exterior trim, everywhere, and it is a fantastic product, but I'm also doubting that DLX will hide damage as well as the Endura Trim product has.

I've done nothing to the trim so far since, just regular washes still looks great after a good 1-1/2 months, been through rain storms, mud, grime, it cleans easily, still has a nice natural sheen, and so far shows little evidence of wearing off.

I'm definitely sold on both Endura products. Great anyway you look at them.

When I get the chance, and do tire rotations, I will coat both in and out on my two vehicle's tires, and will keep these products on hand for any upcoming details on other's vehicles.

Glad to hear you like them. They are great products and they simply just work.

This is a side note/post for anyone who has been eyeballing that white can of Duplicolor tire coating in your box store for $5-$8; it works, and it holds-up well. The gloss level is adjustable with the number of coats put on. The first layer makes a tire's sidewall look brand new.

Another quality I notice with the Endura Trim Coating, is that after going through wet nasty slop ridden streets-roads (which of course all are here when it rains-snows), and the sides of the car are filthy, the lower trim moldings still look pretty clean and black.

Seems like the product has a very good ability to shrug dirts.

Great to hear I actually just received a sample of solution finish I may try out this weekend. Gonna wait on the tire coat til we get some weather in the 50's per the instructions

At Day 38 (or 5-and-half weeks):

The TW Coating still shows a lot of sheen, there is absolutely no browning, and it's holding up well through lots of rains and a few days of salt but no snow. This picture was taken after a previous night of ONR sponge wash and this morning's 40 minute drive to work (daily driver!). It was around 8am when the sun was just peeking out above the horizon, and that's why the color is a little off due to the low-light at sunrise. The tire is actually darker and blacker in real life.

This product is absolutely a winner in my book. Cheap, readily-available (OTC), easy to maintain, and it just plain works.
