Coated my tires today and WOW,

Anyone use this Turtle Wax coating with the Carrand Tire Brush? It seems like the preferred way to apply the DP Tire Coating, wonder if there is any reason why it wouldn't work well the with TW Tire Coating.
Having used the TW coat, I don't think any brush will work well. Too runny, like someone said.
Just curious, read through about 10 pages so I did read before asking.

Which version is everyone using? I see there are 2.

Thanks!
If you're talking about aerosol vs. non-aerosol, get the non-aerosol version. I haven't seen any other version in my neck of the woods.

I'd like to show you my tires @ 6 wks but can't figure out how to do this on my New phone

The past 6 days have dry but below freezing temps. They've putting down salt on most roads almost every morning. My tires look whitish from all the salt. We'll see how they clean up this weekend, almost at the 30 day mark.

Ok here's the pic of my car from last week and IIRC I'm at 6 weeks right there. Just to refresh things, I did the initial application and after a rain and/or wash the shine just about went away, so I redid it. What your looking at here is 2 coats done in about 55 degrees and it's held up GREAT👍

Perfect it's nice not having go clean the garbage from other dressings and/or apply more every few days

This stuff really is good there are a few weird times where it doesn't seem to take the first couple coats and you have to redo it but that seems to be more winter tire compound and possibly temperature related too. There is no way to test in every tire known to man but a company so I am sure it was mostly on typically all season pass car tires from the more known brands. For 15 bucks or less (not that it's alot of money but) it's really something that is actually worth the price compared to a lot of other stuff

Many of us seem to keep chasing that product that is just a little better based off the way someone reviews it or says it works for them, and we buy it, maybe talk ourselves into believing the paint is so much shinier or the tire shine is so much more durable but then after a few uses we kinda come back down to earth after forgetting we blew more money on stuff that wasn't really any better than what we already had 20 bottles of on hand lol. This stuff has made me quit looking for tire stuff

I usually don't like to quote a multi paragraph post but Matt, WELL SAID👍👍👍

I know it's temp based when you've gotta redo it after the first application in the fall, this much we're all learning. The solution, before the winter shoes go back on just clean them real good and apply 3 coats and your all set for the winter or Damon near set for the winter time. We'll be happier come this time next year when we prep our winter set-up in the late fall, along with coating the wheels and wheel barrels👈

I should start on the summer wheels now, after all they are in my basement. I could put a coat on every day. I wonder what that mess would look like?
Maybe it would work like the sealant/wax layering. Totally diminishing returns.

I do have to get them cleaned up one of these days and treat them to 845 and the TW.

Yup, yup and yup to everything said. This is the best bang for your buck when it comes to tire shine durability, even at full price.

Today is Day 29 or just a day over 4 weeks:
First 3 weeks after application were lots of rain, almost everyday, heavy at times.
The last week was completely dry, but temps were below freezing and they laid down salt every morning on the roads I took. Today it's warmer but raining again (!!!).
After an ONR wash today (used a sponge):

I did a rinseless two days ago and the wheels were dirtier than the tires.
After the wash and some D156 on the rubber and wheels my tires looked just like Blades. I've had mine on for 2 months.

For the summer wheels I will be doing a couple/few coats on the inside.

If anyone's wondering (cause I've been asked about 2 weeks ago at work), my steelies and tires are both 4 years old. I apply a coat of Poorboy Wheel Sealant on the steelies every year, and this year the same day I applied TW. All it takes to bring the shine back is ONR.

Now that we've gotten some snow and the roads have been salted and more to come tonight the TW tire coating is going fo get a true test but in my case the coating is 6+ wks old but I'm sure they'll stay matte black under all the white....stay tuned👈

It's the best winter tire "dressing" I've used, period (it's not a dressing). In summer I'll probably switch back to 303 because I still prefer the natural, new rubber look and don't mind re-applying after every (other) wash.

So without reading all 22 pages what's the over under on this ya or nay?
The over-under on this is not ya or nay, but the number of weeks it will last. Right now, mine are at 4 weeks in the middle of winter and still going strong (see my last pic). I'm guessing it will last another 4 weeks of Vancouver winter. And I bet it will easily last double that (4 months) in the dry months of summer. But we'll see.

Will buy and try this weekend then is there enough to do tires and inner fender liners in one kit?

Yes but buy the non aerosol kit. As far as doing the liners go, we'll, no one has done this yet! Can't wait to see the results but they must be really clean and although the kit comes with a cleaner You might wanna try a stronger cleaner to do the liners with or just use it all up and see how it does. The key here is make sure he surface is CLEAN before applying the coating. I would suggest 3 coats for the tires with 10 minutes in between each layer for proper drying. One last thing is tsmps, where do you live? If it's cool you'll need a heated garage for the product to work best, trust me/US👈

A truck came into the shop last week, the step nerf bar trim was shot, even after cleaning them well they still had this brown, nasty look to them.
I took my TW liquid coating and applied two coats on the trim, they looked new.
It surprised me some as to how well it restored the look.
I'm not sure how long it will hold up but I had one happy customer.
Also did the rear bumper.
