My wife cleaned them three times using the cleaner that came in the Turtle Wax Tire Coat Kit then I used the applicator pad and applied 6 coats to each tire, I waited 10 minutes to let them dry, doesn't take long.

After cleaning....

That looks great! Have you ever used this before or was this your first time?

If this is the same tw product a client of mine used then its going to be a nightmare to remove and look terrible in a month or so.

Too glossy for my tastes, but I'm glad you found a product that works to your liking and for a good price!

I like it gonna stop by the store later you recommended in the other post and get some if they have it in stock, hopefully be able to try it out sometime later this week or next weekend this weekend is full

Lots of info in the other thread about this product but it seems there's a spray and one you apply with an applicator? Either way it looks like this product does the job, period. Yes the tires are shiny but not that super wet, plastic looking shiny, more of a step or two above matte. Keep us posted about how you like the product, I'm subscribing to this thread.

Looks good after six coats... What did it look like after 1-3 coats? I don't like mine so shiny.

I am curious to this as well. Can you create just a mere sheen finish versus full gloss look? What made you decide on 6. How long between coats?

You can control the shine, one coat looks nice for those who just wants a slight shine.

A week ago after coating the tires of the Benz I did a quick cleaning and two coats of the coating on these same tires.
It was easy to remove with the cleaner that came with the kit.

I could have stopped with the second coat, they had a clean look too them and not too shiny for those who prefer it that way.
Like I said, you can control the shine or lack of :dblthumb2:

What I like about it is the tires are 100% dry so no worries about sling.
One bottle will coat many tires being it takes so little, the applicator pad is really nice too

If you just want a nice sheen only apply two coats.
I waited ten minutes in between coats.

Reason I put six coats is to test it, I wanted to see if more gave more shine, after six coats it didn't make a difference.
Oh, I took a sponge and coated my fender wells, two coats.
Not sure if it will hold up on plastic but worth a shot.
I love testing:)

Can't beat the price for $11.00.
Comes with a large bottle of tire cleaner, good size bottle of coating, an applicator pad that has grooves in it to help get the coating in the lines of the tires and a pair of gloves.

I wouldn't expect it to last as long as the Tuf Shine, then again it's much cheaper and looks just as good:)
They suggest you apply the first coat light, I took it a step further and applied all of the coats light , dries super fast.

How do your windows look now? When I used that stuff it left over spray spots all over my truck including the windows which created a blinding glare in the sun. After a few weeks my tires had a rainbow effect as well.
