It's two 1x6s.

10 min or so. Dressed the wheel wells, then dropped it off the blocks.

Applied two coats to one of my Mustangs yesterday. The tires are fairly new and cleaned up easily. The look is exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately this car is a garage queen. It's only seen 300 miles since July. I look to get a year or two out of the coating. LOL

The daily driver is up next. With the rain we get in Houston it will get a workout.
 
Bullitt, that coating could last the life of the tires at that rate, LOL. They'll dry rot before the coating wears away. Looking forward to hearing/seeing fhe results on your DD.

Coated my DD and my GF's DD.

My Falkens soaked it up and look great with 2 coats.

The GF's 2014 MB with Cotinentals were a little splotchy but after 2 coats evened out.

Looks great.

PS: The Turtle Wax trim restore is also AMAZING. I will no longer be using Wolfgang.
 
Sure, why not? I think it's the perfect place for a non-silicone dye.
 
This week I started treating my summer wheels.

I scrubbed the rubber with a tire brush,1st with Megs Hot Rims, then D143 twice and finally with the cleaner that came in the kit.

The front still looks good enough to be put on the car as is.
The middle tire still looks new after scrubbing. Since this picture I have put 3 coats on the inside of the wheels.

I like the results this product offers but wonder if there are any alternatives that work as well but would work better on my tires that have small ribs (for lack of a better term) around the perimeter. I don't know what they're called or how to describe them better, but it's hard to get tire dressings wiped on in that area.
Can I get similar results with a spray on product? Is there a trick I'm missing to make it easier?

I use an air brush. Works great with dp tire coating.

Ok. I thought it only came with a foam applicator. I could get a brush easily enough though.
unless somebody has an alternate product suggestion, I'm going to buy some and try it out.

I cut up a sponge into small pieces.
Works fine, holds the product well, less waste.
 
When you order the entire kit from DP you get a brush with the kit.

I tried the TW Trim Restorer.
Another "WOW" for me.
Was pleasantly surprised as to how well it worked.
 
I did my Tires yesterday on the Kia after a wash, and spray detail.

All I simply did, was spray the tires and wheels with a dilution of LA's Totally Awesome, waited 1 minute, wiped with a dampened towel, got all the dirt off, let dry, and the tires still looked very nice.

Came behind with two walk-arounds with TW Endura, and they sure looked pretty!

Now, my thoughts again are this.... How great it would've been to have such a product 30-40 years ago? I can't imagine the 100's of hours I probably would've saved myself, and wasted, with dressing a darn tire with lesser products, and three days later the product is gone.
