I got some new Yokohamas, can't wait to coat them.
Any else find the applicator breaks down after a few uses? I suppose a regular tire applicator will work...?
I'm holding out a full review of the DP tire coating compared to the TW because the tires are very new. I cleaned them the day I got them last Sat and applied 2 initial coats, one the next day. Fast forward 1 week and 1 rinseless wash as well as 2 touch free washes at 2 different gas stations. The tires still have a matte finish but compared to TW after the same 1 week period, well, the TW looked better. I'll be doing another coat when it gets warmer out, if that ever happens

Agreed but I actually bought it during the Christmas sale so it wasn't too badBe sure to post lots of photos. Curious to hear your final thoughts. I like the DP line but the coating kit cost does not justify in getting that versus the TW kit.
I'm sure you maintained them all along so your good to go, keep us postedI re-coated mine today as it was pretty much all gone. We'll see how long it lasts this time as the weather will be nicer for much longer. Although, I have to admit I didn't clean the tire super well, but they were "clean".
Great minds think alike but I'll be doing this on my work van come spring, whenever that will beYou might have to do a half and half test on a tire or one tire with DP and the other with TW.
WOW. Epic thread. Eyed this up this morning at auto zone. Might have to try it......
Welcome SmittyI applied this to my Tahoe in December and it is still perfoming (only two coats). It still easily cleans during a wash. I will never use a conventional "wet" dressing again.
