I'm about to purchase some collinite products, from the so many GREAT reviews everyone's been giving it.
The question is which one, and why!
I was considering 845, 476 (I like the fact that it behalves like a sealnt), and 915!
So which is it, and is there any benefit to use one on top of the other (layer them)

i only have experience with the 845. did it by hand. the results were amazing to say the least. really popped the color and the protection is insane. i had no issues applying it. a thin coat and buffed right off with a mf.
 
I have 476. If you put even a tiny amount too much it is a PITA to get off but it works awesome! Might try the 845 on a next order. I also applied by hand FWIW.

If I were only going to use one it'd be 845. It's a hybrid, sealant with wax. It's easiest and lasts as long as the other two, IME.

I found 476 to be a pain in the neck by comparison. Layering 915 on top of 845 softened the bright shine of 845 somewhat but I feel I lost considerable slickness and the ability 845 has to shed dirt and contaminents. YMMV.

845 machine application, easy to remove..
A++ for longevity, Looks and application.

I'll probably go with the 845 being its durable, and all my cars are daily drivers. They need all the help they can get!
 
Good choice! I wish I had picked some up a few months back on BOGO...

I picked up the 845 on BOGO and I already had 2 bottles! It is some great stuff! I love the warmth it gives gold paint (my 2001 LR DII that gets very abused/used) A day of wheeling and it only takes a quick hose off to get her clean! (I layered it with 3 coats probably overkill but what the heck I had time)
 
I'm somewhat partial to Collinite products specifically Collinite 845.

I have Collinite 476 and Collinite 915 however these are typical "old style" paste waxes and may be more challenging to apply and remove if put on too thick.

Applying any brand of paste wax requires some thought and effort in order to lay down a thin coat. One need only to recognize that these waxes are similar to those waxes more commonly available years ago. This is not exclusive to Collinite paste waxes but more the rule rather than the exception.
 
915 is my favorite but all the collinite waxes are very good with exceptionally long durability. So basically you can't go wrong with any of them. Just remember that thin application is very key to make removal easy.

Does 845 look good on all colors, or is it specific IOW better on black or better on light?

I use 845 on almost every vehicle that comes through the shop... I figure that I will go through a bottle a year or so...

I have used it on all colors and honestly the only ones you don't see any huge wow effect on are the ones that don't get it... lol... Makes black deeper, white blinding, red and yellow hotter, metalics pop, etc...
 
I used the fiberglass cleaner on a friend's boat once with great results. Only when I subscribed to this forum did I realize that people liked to use Collinite on their cars too. :laughing: I picked up a bottle of 845 that should be arriving tomorrow! I can't testify to how well it works yet, but based on all of the good recommendations it got here, I would bet it works pretty well:P

The only thing that worries me is that I'm becoming a wax Whor.... LOL!!

845 for sure. Not a huge fan of 476. I still need to try my 915.

Guess I'm the only guy that used the Fleetwax 885 Marine and Aeronautical. Longevity was very good. I've probably been through 3-4 tubs. It was the old style paste wax, but wowo. If it dried too much it could be difficult.
Before I would use it again I would try 845 just based on what AG'ers have said.
