collinite

Imo can't go wrong with any if these, I've got 845 and 476 on my rides for the winter

476 for best durability
915 for best looks (dark colors)
845 ease of application

I use collinite 845 top with 915
The beading is nevertheless crazy but seems have lots of water spot issue :(

I use 845 and have had no issues here in the mid-west. My only reason for using 845 over 915 is the ease of application since it's a liquid vs a paste.

I just happened to luck out and use 845 the other day to finish off my first ever clay bar, cleaner wax, sealer wax job...these were recommended by a supplier.

Great forum. Is there a good place for wax and cleaner references? I know there are a lot opinions and options out there. I would like to do more research on products.
Thanks.

Check out AutoGeek store for products. If you like description of any, google up its reviews.

Another vote for 476. It's the most durable of the three.

Once you see how good Collinite Waxs perform during the Winter season, you just may be wanting to also use them Spring, Summer, and Fall...Stock up!

That was my problem. Despite having a bottle of 845 that will probably last the rest of my natural life, I'm hearing the Siren Song of 915 calling me... Doesn't help my car is black which is right in the wheel house of that product.

I just tried Collinite for the first time by getting 845. I am beyond amazed! I applied it for my winter prep based on it's reputation. Based on the performance so far, I believe it will last all winter.
That being said, I'm so impressed with Collinite that I bought 476s and plan to put it on top of the 845 application.
This stuff if simply great.

Wait till you guys use 915, I'm a huge 845 and Power Lock fan, prior to that I was a huge Megs fan(still like it and use it on occasion), but if you impressed with 476 or 845, you gona me amazed by 915 Marque D'Elegance, concours show car wax!

OK Zubair, I'll order some 915 then. Any advice on how and how much to put on a DA pad? I'm accustomed to liquid waxes/sealants.

You can just dab the pad in the can before applying with a DA. Just remember......

Thin is in! :dblthumb2:
