Air times

Fridays at 7:30pm EST
Saturdays at 2:00am EST
Sundays at 9:30am EST

In this episode AJ, my team and I detail Bruce Meyer's 1929 Bentley to get it ready to be on display on the Grand Boulevard at the first "Classic Auto Show" in Los Angeles, California.

The “Grand Boulevard” is the MOST prestigious area of the Classic Auto Show Los Angeles. Here, some of the world’s finest automobiles will flank a red carpet of design excellence! Bruce Meyer, the Grand Marshall, is bringing a 1929 Bentley from his private collection to be displayed. Before it makes its way to the Grand Blvd, Mike, AJ and the team will need to make a stop at his secret garage location and make this million dollar ride 100% Competition Ready.

Here are some screen captures I snagged from the rough cut of this episode. We don't get the final version of the episode till after it airs. The rough cut version never looks as good as the final version so keep that in mind...

These screen captures are also taken and posted here in the order they appear in the episode...

Most of my family doesn't have cable hack somebody can have TVs in general so just trying to see how I can get them copies or a way that they can watch it so I'm guessing based off your last comment we have to wait till the whole season airs or to be on YouTube

That is a GREAT pic of Johnny!! Looks like he's really crushing the clay, Hulk style. haha.

Thanks for the update. Exciting to know it's just around the corner

Yeah that's something I share at all my classes, I try to have some fun with the class and maybe it's corny but you never forget it after you do it...

From this episode of Competition Ready

Competition Ready Episode 7 - Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance - Doc's 1933 Rolls Royce Phantom II

The Hulk Technique for Kneading Clay

If you've ever been to one of my detailing classes in the last 20 years or so you know I try to include some comedy in all my classes as it makes learning fun. One of the techniques I share to take a BAR of clay, (usually the shape of a bar of soap), and get kneaded out to the shape of a pancake about 5" in diameter is to take the lump of clay, place it between your palms, and then using your fingers to grab the outside of each hand, compress your hands together and thus squeeze the lump of clay into a SMALL flat patty or pancake.

Then from there use your thumbs and fingers to knead the clay to the full size patty so that it fits across your palm.

As I explain how to do this on this episode but also in my classes I tell people to use the Hulk Technique and then to clarify I remind them of the two characters that go by the name Hulk and the thing that they both have in common is they are very strong.

Here's who I'm talking about....

EXCELLENT idea! How can you forget it after that demo?

You do a pretty good green Hulk impression, yourself!

oh yeah if you haven't seen I was able to get that review of the belt up

I did see that over the weekend while checking on the forum.

Been busy playing catch-up all day after being offline for literally 7 days for my 3-day Competition Ready class here in Stuart, Florida at Autogeek

2 days to set-up
3 day class
1 day after the class for IDA SV testing
Day off to recuperate

Then today, --> Wednesday, back at work trying to catch-up.

It's all good.... heck it's great!

:buffing:

Does anyone know why that girl AJ has her name embroidered onto her shirt?

Bruce Meyer is THE man. I don't think he has a car, bike or boat that I wouldn't like to own.
