Cordless Polishers 2025

Keep us updated. I really like my Shinemate cordless 5" but not sure I see the need to go to their 3" if the cheap 3" cordless SPTA already does well.

Very curious though to see more feedback as you use it

What would you recommend for a small polisher that will handle the front aero of a mustang, mainly the fog light area. That’s my toughest spot to polish and last I did my wife’s mustang I just hand polished it with a towel since I don’t have a small one

I personally use the Rupes iBrid, but its overpriced and has fallen behind a slew of newer competition.

After briefly using it last year, and hearing nothing but positive feedback from a mate, I would be looking at the ShineMate EB210. Think of this as a new and improved Flex PXE-80. In that I mean a more compact form and a much better integrated battery, along with the quick-change heads to easily swap between DA and rotary. It also smashes the iBrid for power and torque. They also offer a similar rotary whip attachment as Flex do.

On the same day I used the 210, I was also attempting to use an iBrid............................which was having massive battery issues, the 210 just worked.

I'm not bashing Rupes here, I have them and the ones I have work just fine. But 90% of the feedback I see about the brand and its products is not positive. In that, the main complaints are about the price and lack of reliability right out of the box. They also appear to sitting on their hands in terms of product development. They should be an industry leader but are simply the follower now. A real shame.

Thanks for the reply. I have a GG3 that’s rotary and I’m just not confident with a rotary. I’ll look into the EB210. Appreciate it!

On the shortlist were the more compact ShineMate EB350 3/12 and the Rupes HLR-75. After trying the HLR75, I found it rough as guts and didn't like it all. The EB350 is still a little big. The PXE80 and EB210 are too small for a 3-inch, too big for smaller work. The Mirka is without doubt the best on the market, but just too expensive.

So, this new EB212 looks to be the perfect blend.
.
Here you say the pixie and the eb210 are to small for 3 inch and to big for smaller work. Has your opinion changed?
