Corrention Choice for Jet Black BMW??

So maybe I should do this:

MG #105 (orange/green coarse pad)
MG #83 (white pad)
MG #205/MG #3 (gray pad)

Collinite #845 (red pad)

Skip the M83/white pad

M105/orange pad
M205/white
C845/red

This is all u will need. Everybody has what they like and what works for them, since your just starting out play with this combo on a test spot like the trunk lid till you get your technique right. I know it can be overwhelming with all the great suggestions everybody has and I'm sure everyone thats trying to help you has had success with there products and tools of choice. The thing is to not be afraid you are capable of doing paint correction more than you think just don't get discouraged if it doesn't come out perfect the first time you will get the hang of it.

Good luck and happy :buffing:

Thanks!! All the suggestions have been great. It is a bit overwhelming. I have said it before I really don't want to have to buy a dozen products to find something that will work and give me great results.

kind frustrated over here...

im doing my buddys 07 ( never been detailed before) and im having a hard time finding the right combo on it. Im using a rotary (makita) and so far i tried lc purple wool pad with 105, orange with isp and 105 and nothing really finish well in one pass.

I've been forced to do multiple passes to get rid of most of the swirls. Im doing a 2 step on it and trying to get the best results possible.

ppl chime in plz!

that year is the very worst of any paint you will ever work on. Trying to finish with 105?

You can't even wipe it without marring it.

cut with what ever your choice is, polish and finish with HD POLISH.

Sorry didn't mean to say that. I meant to finish good for polishing without having to do like 3 passes.

Still my suggestion stands. HD POLISH

An 07 Jet black paint needs extra work - as a pro you need to realize that
