Couple quick questions about collinite 845

I've applied #845 to the entire car and then removed, works great every single time w/o effort or dust. I like this way because you do the application to the car all at once and then remove all at once, none of this apply, remove, apply remove, etc.

Don't forget to treat the glass and wheels too;)

I will once again state that the manufacturers directions for this product specifically state to NOT use it on glass or plastics (windows).

Using this product on a customers windows or on your own could possibly expose you to civil or insurance liability, because it could be dangerous.

I usually apply panel at a time with very little product (I use a small foam applicator by hand). I work in lower teperatures (heated garage in winter with sub-zero outside) so my swipe test time is 30-40 minutes. So far so good but I have only done hood, roof and trunk lid. Really impressed with the shine depth and slickness.

I do the entire car and wipe off after a 45 mins or so. I've also taken note on not applying it to glass since I've assumed it could give a pretty nasty glare to the driver at night if not wiped off correctly.

I've used my fair share of Collinite 845

I apply to the whole car, let is sit somewhere around the 30 to 45 minute mark, then remove. I have also intentionally left it on overnight and it came off just as easily.

Secondly, I have used it on black plastics (even textured plastic) and window rubbers (even though the website says not to) and I have never had an issue with it.... not to say that there isn't a scenario where it could stain trim etc...

Its one of the reasons I like it so much..... apply some to your pad, turn on the DA, and 'color in' the whole car, glass and trim in between..... move on to another task, come back in an hour and wipe off..... easy peasy....
