Well for pre-washing it's Bilt-Hamber Touchless or Auto-foam and for the 2BM it's Bilt-Hamber AutoWash

I have all three of the BH soaps, but I haven't used Auto-Wash or Auto-Foam. What separates Auto-Foam and Touch-less?

The Touch-less is sugar based and has a very slightly lower pH, 12 compared to 13 of Auto-foam.

I feel they're so close in performance that it's a coin flip IMO

Yeah Deyon I can't see you needing to ever use it too much except for your work truck or customers vehicles. As far as AutoWash...absolutely use it, .5/1 oz in your wash bucket of about 3.5 gallons and the stuff subs up...BIG TIME

The reason I prefer Touch-Less is because it's sugar based and biodegradable. I believe in using eco friendly products as much as possible.

When it makes sense AND works, yes

You are correct, I have not found a situation where either Auto-Foam or Touch-less has been needed on my own cars.

But I have been playing with Touch-less on my father's vehicle. Not that it fully replaces a proper contact wash, but as a quick refresh between washes, it's been brilliant. Foam it on, allow to soak, rinse and then blow dry, you would barely know it wasn't properly washed. That includes the paint, tires and wheels.

Same here when it comes to my vehicles. I do like to use it on my wife's SUV when she comes back from road trips. She hits every bug possible on the way home and Auto Foam just eats right through them. Foam, rinse and dry and you would think I just spent an hour washing it. Unfortunately, or fortunately, when it was mentioned that TCG was no longer going to carry BH products I stocked up and now have 10 liters of Auto Foam and 5 liters of Touch-Less v2 on the way and don't know if I'll ever get around to using all of it.

But, when you have a customer that believes a car should only be detailed once a year it's invaluable for knocking off that caked on layer of dirt and brake dust.

Low pressure rinse with touchless in another difference

Meguiars Hyper Wash has been amazing ever since I started using a foam cannon. The suds are phenomenal and I’m even more convinced than ever that suds absolutely do matter when it comes to both lubricity & cleaning power and I’m willing to go to war about it.

Washing has never felt as slick as it does now. I love the foam. 3oz. in the foam cannon produces mountains of thick foam.

Man, I am with you on this one

Soaps that start out flat or go flat quickly are a big turn off

Like we have kicked around before, gotta wonder if it comes down to the water

I think it could be a factor but not sure how it would affect an acidic product as much.

I think for me has to do with vantage point.

I’ve been using BH products and AutoFoam in particular since 2019. This was before any major distribution in US. I ordered from Ultimate Finish in UK.

Nothing has cleaned like AutoFoam that I’ve used including Descale and lift. Also I don’t feel we deal with waterspots as bad as WA water doesn’t seem to be to hard…

Yeah you’ve been passionate about suds. Wondered what took you so long to foam cannon….

AutoWash a slept on soap. It just feels right.

a close second behind Mystic bubble. Reset 3rd but really all three could alternate places

BH says depending on road film you may like one better than other. Auto Foam has slightly higher PH and it is recommended to PW rinse. Touchless you can hose rinse.
