No, actually that's wrong. Your definition of "127:1" is incorrect because the total #of ounces is not 127. The 1 is irrelevant on its own, it's the total # of 128 and the 1 makes it whole.

I did a rinseless wash this weekend and I think it worked pretty well. It took me almost 1.5 hours.

I did the 2 bucket method. Scratching is my biggest fear. Should I be using the wash mitt soaking wet or wringed out until its dripping a little.

Well, that's perhaps a little long but if it was your first time you'll probably get a bit faster.

That's your preference...some people are going to say that soaking wet is going to flush more dirt out of the interface, and some are going to say wrung out is all the solution that's needed.

Sweet! It takes me 1.5 hours to do my sierra and about 1 hour to do the wife's subaru and I've been doing rinseless washes for quite a while. It's my zen time anyway. If I have to rush I'm gonna wait for another day.

I use Gary Dean method with MF towels. I ring them just a little. They still drip a little but they are not gushing water. You will get a feel for it when you do a couple more. Do what makes you comfortable and enjoy!
