D156 vs V7

I didn't get a "WOW" factor after using it. I just always thought it looked normal. I say it's over rated because everybody here thinks highly of V7. I just didn't get what I was expecting.. I honestly think D156 gives a better look than V7.
 
Roshan I have not used V7 but I can say D156 is winner in my book!

IIRC D156 is really the same as UQW.....I may be wrong tho.

If you want I can send you some D156 to put up against V7 for a Nifty vs Thrifty!
 
Roshan, cut the BS and go with D156! :p It seems to be exactly what you're looking for.

Damnit, you're right. I wanted a reason to go with v7 because I've already used UQW, but after this thread I just can't find one.

Ok, it's in my cart... along with $600 worth of other stuff I have to find a way to buy lol.

Waiitttttttt a minute, I had no idea you've used D156. From your response, I get the vibe that you weren't overly impressed with it. Maybe you should still consider V7. :laughing:

You can't go wrong with either. They both have pros and cons.

Also keep in mind that toppers such as these react differently to whatever is underneath them. Your results may vary as well as all of ours.
 
you dont read the word streak with 156,i like v7 in the shade.considering you are in florida go with the megs and report back

A spray wax is a spray wax right? Nope!

AW is tops,then D156.

Yes, AW is another brilliant one! Use it wet or dry, just like D156. V7, I don't think that's an option?
 
I use V7 and UQW on a regular basis. They both provide more gloss and slickness than any other spray I've tried. Which one I choose totally depends on which bottle has more in it since I don't want to run out of either. :) I do like to use V7 on lenses and glass sometimes. For some reason I've never tried the Meg's on anything but paint....
 
A little off topic here.

I saw a post by Todd Helm during the Polycharger give away. I remember I had a bottle of it laying around. I got it awhile back and I simply forgot all about it (this is what happens when you are in forums such as AG and AF - sometimes you buy and forget). I decided to give it a try.

I added the H20 polycharger to V7 and it made quite a difference in my eyes. The gloss and the slickness of V7 seemed to be amplified. I washed the car yesterday (2 weeks later) and it looks like it is still holding firm.

Actually I was rather impressed with UQW. It's just the detailer's syndrome -- always want to try something new. But I think I will only get Megs :)

I still think think D156 suits you better because you can apply it in the sun. Not sure about AW.

I haven't had streaking issues with AW in the sun. It's awesome stuff that is very durable for a spray sealant.
