I had a gentleman contact me about doing a test spot on his M3 that he just bought to see what I could do in bringing back the paint back to life. The car arrived and I did my test spot doing a two step process and topping it off with some Dodo Juice Banana Armor. My client was amazed at how great the spot came out. He then proceeded to show me where he took it to another detailer to have a test spot done. Well lets say mine was better and I got the job.

Process I took on this single stage paint:

2BM with ONR using Rag Company Mitts and drying towels

NanoSkin Medium clay towel

Orange CCS pad with HD Adapt

Meguiars #7 show car glaze to help get the Adapt off.

Carpro Reflect to bring the paint to a deep shine

IPA wipe down to get all the oils off the paint

2 Coats of DoDo Juice Banana Armor

Since there was a car show coming up that I was having a booth at I asked the owner if I could show the car at my booth. He said yes. So I literally did half of the car to show at my booth.

That is great work. I love M3s and this is no exception.

I am not a BMW fan at all but he let me drive it to the car show and hot damn was it a hoot to drive. I want one now lol.:iagree:

get any business from this show? that was a pretty rad idea actually.

looks great btw!

Stunning E36...GREAT SAVE AND LOVE THE TAP LINE SHOTS!!!!

What an excellent idea to show off your work and advertising.

To hell at what you SAY you can do, here's what I can do IN YOUR FACE!!!

The 50/50's look like two different shades of yellow! Nice job!

Wow. Those whole car 50/50 shots are awesome. Great work.
Thank you it was a blast to work on

I am glad the owner let me have my way with it for the show he was pleased.

Wonderful makeover!

Thank you.

that's pretty awesome. I watched the video and I like how you do "light management". It appears you kick the light down as you move down the car.

Nice work!

Yes I am pretty good about trying to "see" the whole time. I wish I had a shop I could totally pimp out in lighting

Great work! Makes me miss my dakarM

I was sad to see this one go, it spent a lot of time in my shop
Very nice work! 50/50's are excellent!

:buffing:

Thank you

It was fun to show off. Most people do not understand what us detailers can really do to their cars. I hopefully got a few jobs.

I had a '97 M3 in Techno Violet. My favorite car in my favorite color that I have ever owned. This one turned out spectacular—Dakar was a very difficult color to keep looking nice.

WOW, what a difference. Excellent work. I'm not a huge fan of yellow, but that is pretty.

Very nice! Here is a Dakar Yellow that I did last year with CQUK, certainly a crazy color in the sun.

That's a great 50/50. Hopefully it got you some business at the car show as well
