First thing in the morning... clean, well-stocked and ready to go...

Had a gentleman bring in a 1987 Pontiac Fiero with the V engine in very good condition overall. The hood, deck-lid and one of the side panels had been repainted and now he wanted to learn how to polish the original paint on the surrounding panels to get them to match the clarity, gloss and shine of the new piant...

We taped off the hood for a side-by-side, before and after demonstration...

Covered the windshield wiper blades and arms to protect them from any accidental splatter...

Used a 3-step approach that included Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0 with a light cutting pad on the 6.0 Speed Setting to remove the swirls and water spots...

Machine polished using Wolfgang Finishing Glaze with a white 5.5" Flat Polishing pad on the 5.0 Speed Setting

The results after just to simple steps are a very clear, reflective surface...

Next we applied some Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 using a black, 5.5" foam polishing pad

Demonstrated the tip on "Breaking the Sealant Open" and then wiping the dried residue off by creeping-out like shown in this video...

I'm really glad you posted all the great photos! There are a lot of members that would love to attend a Detail Fest but it's just too far away. Not enough Ooooo's in WOW folks!! :props: :props: :props: :props:
