I'm thinking of going down for this. Has anyone gone before. Looks like it would be a good time

Frank...come on down !!! You won't be disappointed...Trust me :xyxthumbs:

Its the perfect time of the year to get away from pgh for a week. I'm gonna try

I'll be there. It's pretty fun. Gets you out of the cold weather in March as well.

For the last two years I wanted to go but didn't. Now that I see you guys on this thread, I'm really excited about going this year for sure. With Swanic, Funx, Prozzoly and Joe it's sure to be something like an all star gala. It would be great to meet you guys in person. LOL.

If it didn't cost so much I'd rent a new mustang or challenger to drive down but I'm sure itd be way more than a flight

Plus you never know what the roads are gonna be like going through west Virginia hills that time of year. Wouldn't feel to safe in a rear drive

Detail Fest 2014 was epic in all sorts of things; largest one to date, viewed in over 26 countries, hundreds of cars on display, an amazing Velocity celeb panel, and more!

Detail Fest 2015 will be our biggest Detail Fest EVER! It happens to be our 10th Detail Fest, which means the bar is set very high. Trust me when I say that none of you will be disappointed. :dblthumb2:

Saturday, March 21st, the Detail Fest Car Show will take place, handing out a total of 15 trophies to winning participants! Car Show trophies will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in 5 different categories! All registered participants must have a car to show. If you have two vehicles (same household), the second vehicle is free.

Sunday, March 22nd will host a "Festivals of Beaters" (New Addition!) car show and a car club car show. Festivals of Beaters is a car show for all the old, rusty, unfinished, weathered, and worn classics! The Festivals of Beaters Car Show is for all the rat rods and beaters that wouldn't fit in at a regular car show where shiny paint and finish quality are the criteria for winning.

Attending car clubs will be announced at a later day. Please put the name of your car club at the check out menu below. Sunday is FREE to attend.

Here's a couple highlights from last year's Detail Fest, along with a couple videos:

Bad news kids.... I'll be there.

Mwahahahahahahahahahaha!

Driving from PA does cost a fortune in gas. 1120 miles each way from my house - plus a few extra miles ~ 2400 total miles.

My BMW gets about 21 MPG or so, so let's say I use about 115 gallons of fuel.

115 x $3.79 gallon (premium fuel) = $435 in gas. Add another $80 for a hotel (assuming your not driving strait through)....Now your at about $515 to get there.

Flight from Orbitz ~ 350.

So, say you want to rent a car for 3 days while in Stuart; maybe $150. So...

Flying with rental car = $500

Driving with own car = $515

Nah, I'll be flying the friendly skies :xyxthumbs:

I've been looking at flights too - so far they're a little more $$$ then I can swing right now. Did you find a good deal out of Philly?
