Detail with good UV protection before temps go to 120!

Exactly why I now do an Optimum Car Wax once in a while and do Optimum No Rinse and Wax. My main QD is now a mix of Optimum No Rinse and Wax also.

Dave

So what's the UV product for cars?

So you're telling me all waxes on the market save for optimum car wax do not protect against UV?

Can't say anything for sure but as stated Optimum has a patent for UV A and UV B. Others that state UV protection can only be taken by their word.

Didn't say that, I said that OCW is the only wax that has a UV patent. Far cry from saying it's the only wax that protects against UV.

I've often wondered how much UV protection that a ceramic coating gives.

Don't know the exact quantification numbers.. but according to CarPro:

"Cquartz UK offers an extremely durable hard glass coat which can protect for more than 2 years against minor scratches, acid rain, bird droppings, corrosive traffic film, tar and harmful UV rays."

So if you believe the marketing... I'll see how it holds up if I still have CC in two years from now. :)

I have Classic on a black car that sits outside 24/7 for eighteen months. And yes I do top it with Reload every few weeks.
