Worked on a LS400 a couple weeks ago. The vehicle was in great condition already for it's age. Decided on a two step paint correction, Jescar Correcting Compound and Finishing Polish with my Makita PO5000 to really make the paint come back to life and protected with Wolfgang Sealant 3.0.

As always, thanks for viewing. Til next time.

Awesome job and great documentation :props: .
Neighbor has an older Lexus 400 same exact color, looks just like your before pics. Now I know what to expect when all done.

Wow that was a nice detail, on a classic LS, great job

Beautiful! Did you find the paint soft?

(((Worked on a LS400 a couple weeks ago. The vehicle was in great condition already for it's age. Decided on a two step paint correction, Jescar Correcting Compound and Finishing Polish with my Makita PO5000 to really make the paint come back to life and protected with Wolfgang Sealant 3.0.)))

In the spirit of learning and correct usage of terminology and processes, What you did was a "3 step paint correction"
1. Compound
2. polish
3. LSP

Again---Very impressive work!

Tom

Very very impressive results, Duy! The clarity of shine is outstanding. Beautiful work.

Nice looking workspace too.

Thank you!

Nice! What pads did you use?

Lake Country New & Improved Hybrid foam pads, orange and white.

I went with a two step process, compound and polish from Jescar Tom. I don't consider the LSP as a step but others might.

Very very impressive results, Duy! The clarity of shine is outstanding. Beautiful work.

Nice looking workspace too.

Thank you, the space is finally getting to completion. The floors will be the last piece.

What on earth do you use on the windows? They looks brand spanking new.

When I'm done polishing the paint, I use the same pad and polish and polish the windows. Really makes a big difference.

Hang on... so you use standard polish and a white pad on the windows? Does it remove swirls? I have a swirl problem on my windshield right now.

Your work is impressive.

Correct! Depending how bad it is I might use a more aggressive pad and compound/polish but for most of my single stage corrections, the AIO has been sufficient for bringing back clarity on the windows. I had a vehicle that on the front windshield, the wiper blades had scratched the glass pretty bad. I ended up switching out the white pad to orange and used a compound instead and it improved the scratches drastically to a point where I was satisfied.

Thanks man. I'll give it a try. I was getting ready to buy yet another product and pad for the glass.
