Hello! I'm looking to get my 2005 Black Boxster S detailed and I figured this would be the place place to search.

I'm specifically looking for paint correction as there are light/medium scratches and swirl marks in a couple of spots.
I'd also like to have my headlights restored as there is some slight oxidation.
Some interior cleaning would be great too.

I live in the NYC area so I'm looking for a detailer not too far (pref. no more than 30-45 mins) from the city for a reasonable price, preferably under $300.

If anyone details/can recommend a trustworthy place/person that would be awesome! I'd also love to see pics.

(If this is in the wrong section, sorry. I wasn't sure where I could post this.)

Thank you in advance!

There's Phil at Detailer's Domain, and Street Dreams Detail. There's a few other guys that are further south.

Thank you. I've been interested in Detailer's Domain and their work is suberb. I'm just worried that I'd have sacrifice my first child to pay for their service. I sent Phil a PM on 6speedonline so I'm just awaiting his response.

Street Dreams starts at $595 for minor paint correction. :(

Yeah, well, those guys are top notch. Some others should pop into this thread eventually.

try Tom Zaino in Staten Island, Hugenot section I believe. Sorry I don't have his # but I'm sure his brother Sal of Zaino Brothers could get you in touch with him

And a black correction at that. Good luck finding someone to do that. Bring it to me in Harrisburg PA on a Saturday and I'll do the paint only for $300.

Will you do mine too? I don't wanna! Haha.
Sure, bring it on down. We'll have a north east detail fest. With fuel and tolls to get here you'll still be spending $595. You'd never find time to make the trip.:xyxthumbs: I know you're just kidding but it would be fun none the less.

That's very true! It would be fun. The only problem is...I wouldn't bring my 99 Civic, haha. I don't think a full correction is worth the time!

Did you ever find someone to do your detail?
Also, when you say paint correction, do you want 100% correction or something as simple as a one step polish, or maybe a two step polish?
