So this is my first big job of the season working on this 1963 Rolls Royce. Unfortunately the owner only throws a cover over it during the winter so it still gets pretty messy/dusty. So here are some before shots.
not much of a shine there
I dont think the car was ever polished before
Dunno how that got under the cover
Def. never polished, lol
Finally some shine! Used some M105/yellow then M205/white, washed, then topped with some Megs Gold Class paste wax (only thing I had at the moment...can anyone suggest anything that would look great on this pearl white car?)
Can anyone recommend a good metal polish?
Here are some interior shots of the car. Lots of leather in there...so supple, lol
Sadly in the front passenger foot area had some tough stains I couldn't get out and the passenger leather is def. a bit worn. This is only my second year cleaning it and who knows if the company did much to it before I started taking care of it. As a side note, thats real wood and in some places it looks like the varnish is coming off. Anyone know if there is like a special kind of automotive varnish or could I use any household varnish?
And yes, right hand drive! direct from England with an AUTOMATIC! V8
In case any of you were wondering this car is used only in the summer for weddings and such, and the suspension in that thing is still smoother than in my Audi...insane!
