Look what I got to work on everyone :)

So this was Kyle's Job and I was lucky enough to be asked to go help him out. So thank you very much Kyle :props:

Side Note:
We need to figure this picture thing out, it's been quite a pain in the buttocks.

Also, at my local church they found out I detail. So got asked if I could help with this paint transfer.

Been wanting to try the paint reconditioning cream. But one gallon is a lot if I realized that it's not what I want. What will you say about it? What's nice and what can it work on? Please share your experiences. Thanks.

Great job Art. I see you are tag teaming with other great detailers in your area. Keep it up.

Thank You Cg6,

I guess my desire to keep learning, always participating and willing to go help out has paid off.

I've worked alongside these guys, except Von Hot Rod. I did get his business card today though.

So without getting into to much more information. Someone stole the pictures I posted up, of my own personal work and also the work I had the opportunity to go do with Kyle Allen. (I am very sorry about that Kyle)

So I've been learning how to do watermarks, and while I still don't really know how to do it that much. I did do this and came out pretty good.

(back to detailing)

So this job got a 2 step, but instead of a wax it got a coating. and only the paint was done. Nothing else, I did clean the windows for him lol

Wash
Clay
M205
IPA
Coating

(picture time!!!) :D

Nice work ART!

Especially that paint transfer

How many applications do you think you will get out of that container of BulletProof ?

You gotta learn to drive a stick shift

Is m205 very oily? The ipa is just used to better the surface adhesion of the coating?

Art- Excellent job as usual!

Just a tip on the watermarks...

I know it will detract a little, but put them directly on the car/image. Right in the middle... and make them bigger.

Example: Here's one you had off to the side and in the corner...
It took me about 5 min to get rid of that.
If you place it on the car and over something more intricate it is harder to remove and will hopefully deter someone from doing it.

I went to go check how much is left and since the bottle is not see through I would say a little under 3/4 left. I didn't spray the whole yellow applicator pad, just the edge of it.

I should have done this before hand and documented it. However, I measured the paint with my PTG and surprisingly the readings were pretty low and this is a 2014. Before I polished the paint, I would say 3.5+ Mils.

I then measured the paint yesterday and got readings at about 4.5 or 5 mils. I should have documented it so I could have a more accurate description, but it seems that the coating did add mil readings.

I will say it....the Goof Ball who stole the photo of the foamed Gallardo is Lepore's Detailing in NJ

He is the Official Detailer of Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, from The Jersey Shore reality show

I always thought the picture stealing thing was a myth

The picture isn't even that special...just a foamed up car

https://www.facebook.com/leporesdetailing?fref=ts

He also claimed credit for Art's paint transfer work

REALLY?

Well I wouldn't use the word oily, since M205 is body shop safe. It does have a really long working time though and since it is SMAT, you could actually spray some water on M205 and keep working the product in, but I would find that unnecessary. (I think)

Oh wow, thanks for the tip hermana. Back to the drawing board for me. (looks like a small fix)

:thankyousign:

I actually think he picked up some clients with my paint transfer work. lol

I also thought it somewhat a myth Kyle, I thought, who's going to want to use my work?

I guess people are starting to notice my work these days. Kinda flattering actually :D

and just joking with you about the "oh stop picture" See you this weekend my friend.

I wonder what will happen when Mr. Lepores tries to duplicate your results

His business FaceBook page says his Bench Press is getting close to 400lbs, so I know he can remove a little paint transfer

I get this when I click on the link you provided, not sure why? I never even brought it up or talked to him directly. I just played like I didn't even know. He was my friend on FB though.

ahh, well... enough about him.
