Detailing stuff your buying on Black Friday (not from AG)

Looks like HD has the Gorilla Ladder work platform for $17.88 during Black Friday. I may be getting up early.

I'm going to wake up early to score this one! Only a 12 dollar savings but I love getting their off brand batteries. Like 8 bucks for 50 double A and 50 triple A batteries. I think I'll get a few LED pens too for checking swirls

I picked up two of these last year on Black Friday and I use them all of the time. It is of very nice quality. A good alternative to the more expensive Werner platform.

Thanks for the input. Looks like I'll be getting up early but should be back in bed before 6:00. :dblthumb2:

The only thing I use not provided by PBMG, is Hex Logic pads. If there is a sale, I'll have to stock up.

Where from?^

From the only place I've seen that carries a detailing brand called Uber. Can't talk about non AG places directly here. If I had more free money I would have bought them out lol. I'll be waiting until tomorrow to see what AG offers. Will probably end up blowing the rest of my dough here.

Wow... That's a good sale! AG better have something good in a few hours!

Flex 3401 sadly from another vendor with a better discount.

Please let us know if you find the Werner platform on sale, it's number one on my list for Friday, and the only reason I'll leave the house.

Home Depot didn't have the Werner on sale, but they did have Gorilla and I've see some good reviews, and for $17 I couldn't pass it up. I bought some 3M tread tape to put on the platform for some added grip as I often wear Crocs when detailing and grip isn't exactly their strong-point. I'm thinking it will work out just fine for what I need it for, and I've still got a taller ladder for when I do large trucks and stuff.

They were all sold out last year but this year I was on time

I got the same one. Doesn't matter to me what the name on it is, lol. But thanks!

They also had a Rigid 5 HP rolling wet/dry vac for 39.99 I couldn't pass up. As my 5 HP shop vac is a wall mount, and I don't have a garage to mount it on the wall.

Really, I didn't even get a chance to look at the vacuums. How many gallons? I saw they had a 5 gallon 5 HP one online, but didn't have wheels, so I passed on it.

edit: nevermind, I see it's the 16 gallon one. I'm looking at the much smaller 5 gallon to save space in my mobile rig.

They had a smaller one, but it was battery powered/cordless. I passed.

Made it to HD to pick up my Gorilla work platform. Quality looks good.

But I'm a little POd at HD. The place was a ZOO.... All because of the 99 cent poinsettias. People were filling carts with the pots still boxed up. Some folks had little kids pushing carts so they could get over the 12 per limits. This was not my first BF at HD but it has never been this crazy.

LOL, same thing at mine. The big carts down those little isles caused the biggest back up. I took my time on the back isle, let to craziness calm down then grabbed a few poinsettias for the wife.

Weird, they had those at my store too, but it was actually really quiet and not busy at all. We went about an hour after they opened.

It was pouring rain and nasty out this morning here in Seattle, so maybe that held some people at home?

Not detailing, but car related. Bought some oil, a filter, and fuel system cleaner from BMW. Of course, no BF sale there - you pay full price.

I happened to roll over at 4:30AM, figured why not. I live less than 4 miles from one. Glad I did, all the ladders got grabbed up, saw lots of people with 2 of each.

The O'reilly's by me has a sale often on Castrol (and others). You can't catch it there?
