Boat is a 2005 Palm Beach 151 that i've owned since new. It has only received regular washes after use and wax once a year.

The center console was showing signs of oxidation and there were noticeable stains showing on the hull from the stained water where i regularly fish. Decided last weekend that since its a good 2 months away before the weather permits some fishing that i would spend the down time and clean her up.

Products Used:
Megs Deep Crystal Wash
Attwood Non-Skid Deck Cleaner
APC+ 4:1
Megs #49 Oxidation Remover
Megs #45 Polish
Megs #56 Pure Wax
Megs All Metal Polish
Mothers Power Ball
PC7424XP

Dont have may before pics but some during. Washed to boat with Megs Deep Crystal Wash, scrubed inside deck with non-skid cleaner, then taped vinyl stripes.

I used the Megs #49 with an Orange Pad via PC7424XP, here's a 50/50 of console:

Nice job!:props:

I love doing boats. I enjoy doing anything outside of the typical vehicle. I do so many vehicles that it can become routine. Boats and bikes are my therapy, ha. :dblthumb2:

The boat looks great. And fortunate for you, living in Florida, you can enjoy it pretty much year round.

Boats > Bikes. But I agree something outside of the routine is nice.

Thanks!

I must say that it was a break from the usual not to mention it took 1/2 the time a car would.

I hope to get out and use her more this year than last so i'll definately be doing a better job of keeping up on the maintenance.

Looks real good.

I've used the Megs products you used in the past on my boat. My question is did you have a hard time removing the polishes & waxes after they were applied and sat for a few minutes?
I had a hell of a time removing the products on the fiberglass when I did my boat last winter. I need to do her again but I'm kind of dreading it. The products don't wipe off like the Wolfgang and Pinnacle products I'm use to using on the cars.
Thanks,
Ed

Nice job...I had a Palm Beach 161 16' center console that I sold to my neighbor. They're great boats and wish I had kept it.

It was actually pretty easy to remove. I wiped the polish off almost immediately after being applied as the instructions recommend to do. After polishing the i went over the whole boat with the wax and let it sit for an additional 15 minutes after applying to the whole boat and then wiped off. Wasnt difficult at all.

I think using the PC7424XP made it easier as it applied a thin even coat.

Yeah it has been a great boat without the high price tag of other flats boats.
