Went to use my ol' standby and she split, ie; separated. I love the look that liquid Souveran gives me but it seems I cannot use it before it is unusable.

Little background on storage and usage
Kept inside house (65-75) purchased less than a year ago and used on about 8 cars. Last used about two months. Shook occasionally and never noticed anything funny.

So ? Is this normal. If so, no bueno. So what's next. Since I love the way liquid Souveran looks would Souveran paste be up to par. I REALLY don't want to spent that kind of $ and have it bail on me ($40 was bad enough)

Also looked into the p21s 100%, max wax, cg ect. But everything points to Souveran (have a black car)

What do you say?

Durability is 2-3 weeks with Souveran paste.

Just give the liquid souveran a good shake, it should be fine.

Yup already did the shakey shake for mmm ~1-1.5 min. Nothin. Even smelled more "chemically". I'll try shaking again tomorrow.

Saw the VIP but won't be able to order till Friday. Hopefully I catch it

Honestly I'm more concerned on the shelf life vs. Durability. I have Menz PLand 845 for the times when I know I won't have free time.

If I can find some type of jar, I could send a sample of max wax to you before you buy some. I recently won it during one of Meghan's SEMA giveaway and I would love to help others try out products their interested in.

:iagree:

I've had mine separate several times and you really have to shake it allot to re-blend the ingredients. If the bottle is very full then you'll need to pour the contents into something larger in order to increase the agitation..........

Thank dealerDetailer. I appreciate the offer. You will have a pm soon.

I will try shaking up the bottle some more and report my end result.

Scooby..... let me tell you my experience with the Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0....
I've been ordering it as a free sample on all my orders.... so I have by now 4 bottles of 2oz from it......
All 4 of them lost the cream consistency and had liquid stage separated from everything else..... so... Shake shake shake..... and 1 got back to normal..... more shake shake shake..... + 2 got back to normal..... more shake shake shake.... nothing on the 4th.... more and more and even more shaking.... nothing... 4th was still bad.... then I thought.... well..... maybe I need a little more pressure inside of it...
So I started to beat the bottle against a hard stone...... just a few knocks on it and a little more shaking and there was number 4 back to life again......... pressure do amplify on liquids...
So.... try to beat it a little against something hard... but be careful not to break the bottle...

make a mini paint mixer from some stiff wire, just make sure its straight and bend a N shape into it and put into drill, worked for my wgdgps. good luck with it..

Disaster averted. Thank you guys, I feel relieved and slightly dumb. It took a good 3.5 minutes but i could "feel" when it finally mixed up right.

Liquid Souveran has never had any artificial fragrances added so what you're smelling is perfectly normal. It's the smell of quality liquid wax and although your nostrils don't indulge in it, your paint surely does.

The product does separate over time too, so that's perfectly normal. If you shake it vigorously for two to three minutes it should return to a more even, albeit thin consistency.

Give the wax a try, if you notice any lack in its performance compared to when you first purchased it, give me a call and I'll have a new bottle sent your way. :dblthumb2:

I appreciate the offer Nick and I will be using it this weekend. I will report on any differences

on a sad note, I guess this means i don't order the paste just yet.
