Was looking forward to receiving my Griot's 3-n1 and BOSS pads ordered during last weeks 25% off sale today.

That is until I got an email from UPS saying that they damaged the shipment beyond deliverable status, and will "notify the shipper" (Autogeek)

Whatever.

I know for a fact that AG packs their boxes to withstand knocks/regular shipping.

I am fed up with UPS and their horrible service.

Oh that's a bummer!!!

I'm always at door waiting for my stuff---and if it didn't come, I'll have me a fit!

It'll come Paul, It'll come Paul...Just hold on a bit longer!

Reminds me of the time when I ordered 1200 sq ft of kitchen ceramic tile...

I emailed Meghan.

Superwoman will make it right. :xyxthumbs:

Sorry man. A little wait but all will be made well. UPS must have punted that package to damage a bottle the way AG packs.

I have had horrible experiences with them over the last 18 months or so.

Lost/damaged/late deliveries.

Any company can lose a few with the millions they deliver. But UPS is getting worse. At least in my area......

Seems lately (last year or so) that UPS has been “sloppy” with the packages. Kinda hard to believe with the fact AG does such a great job packing products. I feel it takes a fall from a 4 story building to damage them. But UPS finds a way.

That being said, AG has always fixed ANY issues with no questions asked. It’s why I have complete confidence in ordering from them.

On the other hand, I get it.... we’re like kids waiting for our presents on Christmas only to find out Christmas is postponed till the new shipment is sent out.

Exactly!!

I felt like throwing a temper-tantrum on the living room floor.

I have a friend who works for UPS driving trucks... i’ll have a talk with them....

That’s a bummer, I think they are all getting worse. Lately I’m having problems with Amazon, fedex.

Since they've been trashed (I won't argue with the validity of that), I will say that their tracking system is the best of them all.

I can't leave packages lying around because of theft. Amazon and FedEx are so undependable with their delivery dates, that it's a regular disruption in my life. The Usps is getting better. But, they still don't have much of a tracking system. Overseas packages - they just get here when they get here.

I've had one or two returned to AG also for damage by UPS. I prefer FedEx whenever possible.

All the shipping companies suck, compared to how they used to perform.

I've acquired a lot of audio equipment over the years and usually keep their heavy duty boxes/packing material for purposes of moving or storage. I have some boxes from 20, 15, even as recent as 10 years ago, that are in totally flawless condition despite being shipped cross-country or even further in the case of some Linn equipment that was shipped from Scotland.

Happens with me constantly, I just ordered 9mm ammo and it was just delivered. I was watching tv and heard the THUMP, sure enough they just threw it on my porch.

Since all you heard was a thump, everything should be OK. :)

Received my order in perfect condition today.

The AG packing job was as always--- Perfectly protected against just about anything but getting run over by a UPS truck. ;)

Huge thanks to Meghan and Stephanie for the super-quick turnaround on this.

AG always goes the extra mile. :props:

You should be glad UPS actually took responsibility for the damage and took the action they did. The last time I had a package with serious damage I came home from work to find a crushed box on my porch...with TIRE MARKS ACROSS IT! Someone had actually run over the box and they still delivered it.

Around here UPS and FedEx are the only sure way to get a package. USPS is a crap shoot at best. Not only is delivery never assured, but it takes for ever to get anything too. My last package took a tour of the US to get to my house. I live in St. Louis, the sender was in central Tennessee. My packed went to Reno, San Francisco, LA, Denver, and then finally back to my house. Took 10 days to get it.
