I tried to modify the clamp with some washers I already had, but I'll need to try again with thinner ones because the main threaded rod that goes through the clamp assembly doesn't offer much extra space. I'll be interested in seeing your improvements. And stealing your ideas. :laughing:
It's too bad you aren't able to purchase the original Utilitech bulbs because they will fit side by side without touching.
yeah no sweat. i'll have an update up tonight. turns out the rubber washers alone work without any problems and space it out enough where the lamps don't touch. bonus.
i took the 1300 lumen piece back tonight and got three more of the 1050s.
PS - totally off topic but just in case anyone needs a lock for anything lol...
my wife needed combination lock for her gym locker - she's been going to our gym for years and not locking her stuff up! i just found this out. granted, it's usually just clothes and her car key, but with the clientele we have...i can't believe it has worked out so long without any incidents. ANYWAY, i found this really neat Master digital combo lock on sale for $2, down from $16 and the Master Lock site has it for $40.
