Well the Escape is officially gone.... lease was up.
The RS is my only vehicle now.

I gotta deal with the RS not being pristine 24/7 now LOL :p

Because it's already a legend and also because of no more cars from Ford, it's going to be one collectable car, so Monica I have to ask...could this RS become a long term member of the family?

LOL I wouldn't call it a legend, but thx Roger. For now it fits my needs and I enjoy driving it which is all that matters. No clue what the future holds... you all know me, I get bored of cars somewhat often :rolleyes:

Yeah there are ones still out there for sale. It's not a huge market, plus Ford was initially greedy and was marking them up.
 
The RS name holds alot of weight, just not here. Your car will end up being a unicorn in a few short years....bank on it!

Nice in theory but I never count on cars retaining or gaining value.
But who knows!

Ofcoarse, we're all enthusiasts and don't chose cars based on future value, can't relate to those people because I take full advantage of the tires and wheels being 360 degrees

Focus RS is awesome! And a perfect winter car :)

A family member work as a mechanic on a Ford dealership. He have had both a Focus RS and a Fiesta RS. Test drived both and they where great. I maintain a Focus with the small turbo diesel engine in it. Sadly the preowner neglected it and it's showing way to fast. So only try to not get it worse than it is. Think that the preowner used undiluted concentrate winter windshield fluid. And the run off of that shows on the hatch where the paint is melted away. In the tighter areas where it runs down from the wiper blade on the back window there is rust.

Hehe will be fun to see how long it takes you to hold off to get a new car LOL

And I’m keeping it at least until it’s paid off so I got a while ;)

Hi Monica,

You may want to reconsider putting a bunch of miles on the RS, this one just sold at Barret Jackson for a nice price. I believe they said it had 600 miles on it.
