Update: Glass was fantastic! Probably one of 3 best movies I’ve seen in the last few years.
I definitely recommend it :xyxthumbs:

I don’t know if I liked it that much but definetly enjoyed. If you liked unbreakable.... you’ll definetly like this. Rotten tomatoes wrong again!

Little winter update:

One of my biggest concerns was how the RS would handle the driveway in snowy conditions...
I know this sounds strange, but TRUST me, anyone who has been to my house knows my tretorous driveway (once had someone back out of it at the wrong angle and ripped their front bumper right off).
It’s extremely steep, AND to make it worse, the entry angle is horrible if you have a low car, so “getting a running start” is not an option.

Though we haven’t had a ton this year, it has snowed enough to cover the driveway a couple times with a few inches of snow.
I am happy to report the RS hasn’t balked at all getting up the driveway.... between the great AWD system and the good snow tires it’s a non-issue.

Woohoo!

Now if it just warms up enough tomorrow for me to clean it off!

Glad it's a great system and those winter tires kick ass

Looking forward to some pics tomorrow too Monica

An RS, or any car is useless without a competent operator. Just sayin'......

:coolgleam:

I bet Monica drives like Michele Mouton

As much as I want to take credit for it, it’s not me.
I’ve gotten stuck several times with the Escape getting up the driveway.
Now it had all-season tires for one, and the AWD system wasn’t as responsive, so there was that ;)

Ok, I'm done giving you credit.

You suck at driving. :laughing::laughing:

You know you have a good husband when:

It snows and your car is sitting in the garage clean so he offers you his DD (since he's working from home)...

THEN tells you around 2:30 he needs to run out for a couple errands when you get home after 5.

Why is he waiting till rush hour when he could go out when there's minimal traffic at 2:30???
Because the only winter USABLE car at home at the moment is YOUR car clean in the garage!!!!!

:dblthumb2::dblthumb2::dblthumb2:

I told him to take my car anyway ;)

Oh, and he told me when I got home that my car was awesome :righton:

My car was clean in the garage and today I came to the office. As you know the roads in our area are all wet and salty so now it's all dirty again :(

Yup, that's why I told him to just take it... was getting dirty the next day anyway.

A "reason" to wash it again and make it all nice again though

Well sadly, I have some news:

Our OTHER greyhound (NOT the one with a brain tumor) was just diagnosed with CLL (Chronic Lymphomic Leukemia).
The good news is this form of Leukemia is treatable with a very high success rate in dogs. So we've started meds. So far, so good.

And to add insult to injury I screwed my back up pretty good over the weekend so no detailing for a bit for me....

THE HORROR!

OMG Monica! How did they tell? Swollen lymph glands? High white blood cell count? I hope your grey responds well to the treatment... :(

Yeah, routine check up showed his cell counts were through the roof! Usually that's how they find out... the dog shows no signs of being sick and goes in for a routine wellness check and they find it in the blood work.
Definitely happy it's not ALL (Acute Lyphomic Leukemia)... that one is not treatable and hits fast and furious.
