So when it rains it pours...

It's been a bad morning for our girl with the brain tumor. She is currently completely blind suddenly.
Not sure where we are going to go from here with her. My husband is working from home today to say with her... she was pretty freaked out and out of it.

Well wishes, positive thoughts or prayers are welcome :(

Here’s positive prayers to you. Hope both your pups pull through and are playing at full speed soon.

Sucks with your back too. Detailing is where I go when I need a break. I have a bad back myself and the speedmaster rolling detail cart has been a blessing. Especially for rinseless washes

Thx for the well wishes and for the cart concept.
I have a nice cry system that I sometimes use if needed.
Right now I just need some time to let things become "un-aggitated" in my back, so detailing will have to wait. It's fine right now as the car isn't really dirty.

The pup is doing a little better... we are going to take her to the vet at 3. Told them what is going on and they want to see her. Perhaps they can tell more of what's going on, but it could just be the tumor getting bigger and there's not much we can do for that.

I'll keep you all posted.

You know that you have ours, Monica.

My old girl Koa would go blind with the adrenal tumor she suffered through. It always triggered a panic attack from her, and put the other pack members on edge. (Including us). :(

I think that isn’t helping.
Hopefully she improves... she’s a little better this evening, but who knows how she will be overnight.
We are supposed to call the vet tomorrow on her progress. May be time to adjust her meds again.

Sorry I can't help thinking about what you are going trough, reminds me of some time ago when I thought I was going to lose Dude. I remember talking about medication with you, but don't remember if your pooch is seeing the vet or a neurologist?

IMO these doctors are miracle workers, please consider it. I know you are in PA but it will be worth the drive. Once again anything you need I am here for you and your pooch!

It is with heavy heart I update this thread...
June got worse overnight Thursday. Around 5am Friday morning we realized it was time to let her go.
She was such a sweetheart and gave us so much joy every day. First time I met her she was unconditionally happy to just be with us.
Our girl will be missed every day.

Thank you all for the kind words and wishes.
