Do we need a pad conditioner for DA pads?

Can you help us answer this question? Do we need a pad conditioner to spray on the DA pad before we apply product to the pad to prevent dry buffing? Can you use quick detailing spray instead (like finish kare 425)? I know I read the answer somewhere on this forum before but I can't find it now. And, we are finishing our order tonight!Im the MANThank you in advance for your help!

No you do not need a pad conditioner or to spray anything at all on the pad. Just prime the pad with the polish that you are using (works much better)...
 
I have wondered this myself. I read about the "Kevin Brown Method" and he primes the pad by rubbing the product into the pad before he starts with a new pad. Search kevin brown method on this forum and it will explain it.

Yes Mark, it doesn't matter if your using diminishing abrasives or non-diminishing abrasives. Throw the sprays away and prime the pad with the polish you are using by working it into every cell of the pad with your finger tips.
