Do you sit, crouch or use seat when correcting doors and trunks?

Wish I had a lift, but I usually just squat, (as if I were a catcher in baseball). If the car is quite low, I'll just sit in the ground, or kneel down, but that's pretty rare.

I just crawl around on my knees. I've tried knee pads, kneeling pads and what not, but still I find myself down on the knees.

Yea, I pay dearly for it, but (for me) seems to be the only way I can do it (or is that, "Git 'er Done?).

...and yea, I AM OLD!

Bill
I'm with you BillE I get down on one knee with a gardening pad underneath it. I messed my right knee up doing an S550 last summer and paid for it for 6 months. I struggled to do details from then on last year and had to even go to therapy. It's much better now but I worry I will twist it again. I've been looking a some seats also.

I use a rolling seat on occasion but find an old milk crate I swiped from a grocery store circa 1978 puts me at the best height.

I sit on a rolling cart which works very well for me , I sort of roll and lean back and forth to polish the lower part of each panel.
If I'm working on a car that sits very low I normally just get down on the floor.
