I made a video of the exhaust on this beast car here: Dodge Viper Modded Exhaust - YouTube

This is a 2001 Dodge Viper with 589 HP AT THE WHEELS!!!

Much like Camaros, the clear coat on this paint was rock hard. The process was a one step with M105 for about 85-90% correction.

This detail is going to go on for a few weekends at least, so here's just a teaser. Stickers were removed and hood and roof were corrected.

Products used:

Heat Gun
Speedy Prep Towel
Ultima Waterless Wash Plus Concentrate
Griots Garage 6" DA
Meguiars M105
Optimum Microfiber Cutting Pad
Brilliant Glaze
Americana Paste Wax

After claying, the paint is a swirled mess!

I've always had a desire to own a Dodge Viper. I had the opportunity to drive one 5 or 6 years ago and it was a lot of fun...Taking all those stickers off must have been a real pain but man, does that read look deep and rich now!!

Beautiful work and what a gorgeous Viper!!

Very nice results man! Looks awesome, I love red paint.

Looks great. I bet that Viper was tracked hard. I love the Gen I's with Gen II wheels.

Nice job on the Viper, decal removal must've been a pain.

Car came out great. I have a soft spot for red paint. The viper is such a nice car. Washed and waxed my uncles a couple weeks ago. The car sits in his garage covered so it wasn't exactly dirty lol.

You know, the owner was able to afford it because it was only 28.5 k for the car and all the upgrades to the engine, brakes, and suspension (over 40 k in itself), so this car was a steal! Considering how a new SUV can go for 30 k, I think this car was pretty attainable!

And surprisingly the decals were very easy to remove :) you can't imagine how happy I was to discover that or else I may have spent all day alone on those! The approximately fifteen or so stickers were removed in about an hour :)

Thanks and surprisingly not too bad :)

Looks beautiful!! Great job!

Great job! A Viper for 28.5 is a steal, I still couldn't afford it, but still.

Still my favorite car of all time, love the body lines. The new one is nice but too European for my taste. That is 100% American. Love it. Oh yeah enough about the car, great job on detailing it and also on removing the stickers.

Nice work ... would have loved to see it finished with Fuzion.

I have some Fuzion, but I have a hard time believing it would've looked different enough to notice had I applied it instead of the Americana. Do you think it would've been a noticeable difference?
