When your minding your own business on the road and some honda guy pulls up next to you and starts reving his car at you? I mean all i was driving was my brothers 08 mustang that has exhaust. i turn and look at him and hes making hand gestures that he wants to race.... So annoying having to hear that lawn mower sound....:bash:.... i just kept going and he sped off like if he drove a "sport car" :laughing:

The funny part about that is, they are so slow. Even tuned ones are slow compared to any normal "fast" car be it Mustang, Camaro or even my wifes Trailblazer SS.

I don't know about that. I've seen PLENTY in person that destroyed "American Muscle"
 
I remember I was on the freeway at night about 6 months ago and I was next to some sort of honda or acura and I was trying to get over into his lane as I had to get off. I accelerated a little and he took off so I said #### it and punched it to. Quickly passed him and got over. Man he was mad haha.

I love my Altima 3.5SE
 
I was in my Mustang and some wannabe hip hop star pulled along aside me in a ricer Honda civic with the fart can exhaust and "type R" badging all over it and wanted to race me.

I laughed.

He then started revving his car.. The light turned green, I dropped the hammer to listen to "right foot and pedal symphony in Ford Major"... he stalled out at the lights.
 
I have never seen a fast one, faster than stock sure but that's only compared to say a Smart car or a Prius.
 
Used to get that alot when I drove a 350Z. Got more pleasure out of taking it easy on the gas then trying to entertain them.

It happens alot though.
 
i always get this when im on the motorcycle. annoying. either u teach them a lesson or u dont play. for me it depends on what mood i am in

The only reason i would pick on a motorcycle was if i was driving a Underground Racing Lambo, or a Twin Turbo Ford Gt, or a Twin turbo Viper or a 1000+HP car. other than that, i wouldnt even mind...

You shoulda whooped him. You were in a Mustang...no excuse for letting him go, haha.
 
I never get that when I cruze around with the slicks on....unless it's one of my buddies! :D
 
I still love the bumper sticker my son had. That (refering to a ricer) has a 1.7 liter engine and I have a 2 liter bottle of soda which is bigger. It was something to that effect. I taught him well he only likes American muscle.:xyxthumbs:
 
There are plenty of Honda tuners who do quality work and can really eek out HP numbers. The problem with this motors is that they are fast revingand not by nature torque monsters (works against short drag racing). Couple that with many people who just install a fart can muffler and call it a day, then have the audacity to challenge a properly tuned car.

I am a middle age guy with twins and personally abhor street racing. I did however spank some riced-out puck with my stock Honda Odyssey from a red light several years ago. Very satisfying
 
Yeah...no one ever wants to race my stock Honda Pilot. Makes me kinda feel unloved.
