Which has more lubricity? Which wipes off easier with less chance of streaking? I like the fact that both of these do not contain gloss enhancing agents or wax, they just clean. Price is not of concern. I've tried a sample of DP waterless wash(thanks to Tad), but I have nothing to compare it to. I also tried Ultima WW+(thanks to Dwayne), and while it's great, I prefer a WW without glossing agents. Opinions?

I never tried PB but I never really had a problem with DP streaking. If I had the PB I would send you some but I can't help you out there.

Is the Ultima WW+ safe as long as it is used properly, and is it the best out there in your opinion? I've been looking to get a waterless wash or a rinse less wash for winter, but I've been too afraid to cause more swirls than I already have lol. I'm doing a full detail in the spring. I'm getting everything together now.

Ultima WW+ is great if you only use on light dust, etc. I'm one of the rare few that wants a waterless wash with zero gloss enhancing agents or wax. Ultima WW+ adds protection and has gloss enhancing agents. It's GREAT if that's what you're looking for.

So it's just more of a slippery quick detailer?

Yes, but even more than that. It's polycharged so it protects as well. Most QD's don't add protection, and obviously not as good lubricity as a WW. I can see how UltimaWW+ or Optimum opti-clean could replace a quick detailer, no doubt!

Can they be used as a clay lube like ONR though?

Buy the Ultima WW+ concentrate. It can be diluted for a waterless wash, rinseless wash, and clay lubricant. Talk about an outstanding product!

Sweet. Thanks for the info. Im learning too much on this site. My Christmas list just keeps getting bigger haha. :xyxthumbs:

I've used PB's and DP's and as far as I'm concerned they're equals. You won't go wrong with either one. Both smell great as well!

I've only tried PB S&W and I think it's a great product. Cleans the surface and has plenty of lubricity(sp?). When I was living in an apartment it was a God send in keeping my cars clean and I was buying it by the gallons.

I agree.

I also liked using ONR, and DP's. S&W can just be more convenient, sometimes..

I have tried the Poorboy's and I wasn't happy with it. Altho it was slippery and did a good job at removing light dust without streaking, I found it to not really remove light film or even fingerprints too well! I wish I didn't throw it away as I would have sent it to u to make your own opinion!

That's interesting. I will mainly be using it as a drying aid(after a wash) after I use a leaf blower, so it should work just fine. I've read that PB's wipes off better than DP, but doesn't have quite the cleaning power of DP, but still good. :xyxthumbs:

I have used both DP Waterless Wash and Optimum Opti-Clean, and at this point, I think I like Opti-Clean better. Seems to have better lubricity and less of a potential for streaking than DP. I have two 32 oz. bottles of the DP that I'm trying to finish up, after they're gone I don't know if I will buy more. Thinking on my next order I'll get the 32 oz. concentrate of Opti-Clean and pick up Ultima Waterless Wash to try out. :xyxthumbs:

I haven't done a review on DP Waterless Wash, but I did do a quick review on Opti-Clean if you wanna check it out:

Opti Clean has polymers in it that Mark isn't looking for. He wants something that leaves nothing behind. If you read his first post you will see what he is looking for.

Ahhh. OK, gotcha. IMO though, the added polymers in Opti-Clean do a better job at cleaning and provide added lubricity, reducing the chance for marring. Just my opinion, of course. Mark, I don't have any PB Spray and Wipe, but I would be more than happy to send you a sample of Opti-Clean if you like. I still have your address from when I sent you some Wheel Brightener.

Dwayne actually sent me a sample of ultima ww+ concentrate and it is outstanding! I will use this on one of my cars, but for the other, I want a watherless wash that leaves nothing behind. Weird, I know...lol. Thanks for the sample offer, but I'm good for now.:)

Pb should work just fine for u for your intended use then!!

I have been using Ultima Waterless wash on my own car when its much dirtier than just dust and have noticed no swirls. I spray Ultima onto the surface very liberally though and also spray my towel and use a lot of towels. Its cheap enough to use this way, only $3.40 per gallon!! I only end up using about 16-24 oz to wash my car. I think thats cheaper than ONR even.
