For those that are interested feel free to use my discount code MIKEG to order directly from Dr. B. Who knows when Autogeek will have it or if they will have it. Good to see them getting on board with some beading products. Which is why I like Paint Hero.

How/where do you enter discount code? Tried rewards and says code does not exist.

Is this an Elixr or Gyeon Ceramic Detailer competitor; i.e. a "light" topper to amp up the gloss and beeding on a coated car after a wash?

I think it’s more like Reload. Topper or stand alone.

I don't get the need for this product. IF the ceramic coating is working why do you need a Bead Maker type product?

I reached to Dr. B and they disabled all affiliate codes due to showing up on coupon sites.

Maintenance. A coating is still going to degrade.

They may have abandoned their hydrophilic philosophy even though technically they're right. Customers want to see beading. Hopefully Bead Hero will deliver.

From what I’ve read to truly be hydrophilic you bead to flood whole panel. When you have rain it doesn’t flood whole panel thus does not pull all water off panel.

I think I read that on AG. Don’t know how true that is.

Also remember it saying when sitting still in rain will still get beads and thus water spots.

I think that's right. I don't think you can have one without the other. Can Coat beads well, and also sheets very fast when you flood the surface. The go hand in hand.

I asked about this Bead Hero and they claim it has extremely fast sliding angle and is great as a stand alone.

Wonder what it's longevity is as a standalone?

I'm going to guess 6 months give or take...they say up to a year in ideal conditions. It could be like a Cosmic/Adam's Graphene type product is what I'm thinking.

Per their website: "Bead Hero can last as long as a year (or more) with proper surface preparation and maintenance."

I haven't seen many positive reviews of their coatings though. We'll see. I watched the Chicago Auto Pros video of how they got started. Very small company. They do pride themselves in using very good top shelf chemicals.

I had pretty good luck with their LS-10 spray coating...never tried any of their other products

They said similar to LS 10. Up to a year but stressed “up to”

With the disappointment from them in past and nothing except a true/lite coating going a year I’m happy with 3/4 months of protection like in video.

I doubt this could last a year unless the car is garaged. Wolfgang SPC only lasts 6 months in northern conditions outdoors.
