Duragloss help....

Since you've got experience with the #915 would you agree with what people say that its geared more towards shine then? What are your personal tips/tricks when applying it, please go into detail if you could, thanks.

Well my car sits outside 24/7 and around trees so the horizontal panels seem to stop beading and sheeting strong fairly quickly.
I used it on two cars so far so I don't have a ton of experience, but on my white car it had a nice carnauba glow that everyone comments about it having. On my girlfriends black car which has small defects and light swirling it definitely helped to hide those imperfections. This wax is great on darker colors IMO. It has a different look than the DG sealants I always reach for.

When I applied it I used my pc on speed 3.5/4 ish and used a black ccs pad. I scooped out small bits out of the can with a spoon and spread them on the pad kind of like butter. It helps if you spritz the pad with QD first so prime it in a sense.
Then I would do around 2 panels at a time then do the finger swipe test and if it passes then I would remove it. Don't do the entire car then try to wipe it off, it will be a pain to remove. If you wipe it off too early it's going to smear everywhere. As with 845, a little goes a long way so apply super thin.

Great tip u have there mate. Will definitely try it out when I am ready for the next round!

Guy came across optimum poli-seal. The review is not bad considering it is an AIO polish/glaze/sealant. Shorten the time for me to polish when i have decided to try with Menzerna FO106FA for polish. I know menzerna has a higher cutting compound compared to poli-seal. But seem like FO106FA can also be treated as polish/glaze based on the comparison chart below. FA203 also can does the job well with more cutting compound.... argh... so many choices...

Or should i start off with the most aggressive one first and see how it goes? optimum poli-seal/Menzerna FO160FA/Menzerna/FA203

Just did my car wash and finish with zaino z6. Taken some pic using iPhone but photography skill suck. Tried to capture area with swirl mark but unable to do so....

I did have a question... Based on the reflection from the door panel, the reflection looks blurry and not sharp at all. Is that what u guys meant by marring or hologram?

Marring and holograms are both surface defects in the paint. My best way of explaining it is that they are both types of scratches. Marring could be from rubbing like a madman with a microfiber towel and holograms are mostly caused by a rotary buffers.

I think part of what is causing your paint reflections to look a bit distorted is "orange peel." It happens during painting and causes the paint to have a dimpled type of appearance. With orange peel you either wet sand the area, have it reprainted or you can learn to live with it. I'm doing the safest route and living with it on my ride

That's sad hearing that.... I have posted more pic of the reflection under day light. Any experts here confirm if it is indeed orange peel? Thanks
