Local forum member contacted me for a basic detail on his E30 M3. This was a mobile job and was not a paint correction job, but there was still several hours of work to get it looking good. So while the swirls remained, the gloss was increased and the paintwork and trim were all protected. The wheels took some time to get dialed in and there was old dried white wax in just about every crevice on the vehicle....which alone took significant time. When all done it looked clean and well kept.

Products used:
-Dawn Wash and foam
-Iron X
-Sonax FE
-Blackfire Poly Clay
-Meguiars D301
-Zaino Z16 (tires)

You can see all the wax...pretty much everywhere..

All done. Gaps, trim, emblems, etc all looking proper again. Paint sealed and protected from the elements.

While this was not a correction detail, it was fun working on an E30 M3, such an iconic car and making it look sharp again. Thanks for checking it out!

Very nice job.

What was your process on removing the wax from the emblems?

Very nice. The result was Well worth all the time that was put in.

One of my favorites. Hope whoever owns this car goes for the full correction next time. Well done.

Dang........that looks sweet now!
Full correction is in the future I'll bet.

Great job of removing all the leftover wax too.

Thanks guys. About half a can of Stoner's Tarminator was carefully applied to towels and carefully used to remove the old wax stuck everywhere.

Wow nice save on the e30 M3! Stunning work for just a minor AIO. Too bad it wasn't a full correction.

I would love to get my hands on one of those to own.

Thanks guys. About half a can of Stoner's Tarminator was carefully applied to towels and carefully used to remove the old wax stuck everywhere.

Tarminator for the other guy's wax removal, huh? I'll have to remember that one. The Bimmer looks awesome - nice work.

Great work on a beautiful car. I bet it took you more time to remove the wax than anything else. Beautiful color as well.

Nice job. This goes to show, that a professional detail doesn't always entail paint correction.

What did you use to protect the trim?
