E60 BMW Paint Correction - Black

[Understated]

This 85,000 mile E60 5 series was hurting for some TLC. The car was riddled with swirl marks, heavy scratches, and holograms. I busted out M105 and knocked them all down and worked my way back up with Menzerna 2500 and finally topped it off with Zaino show car polish. The car didn't come out perfect but it's 90% better.

Looks good. Paint was hammered for sure.

I will say next time try HDAdapt and Medium Cutting Pads. Once and done as it would handle that without issue. I've moved to it vs a two step process with excellent results.

Nice. I had that same car/color until a few days ago. The paint was sure easy to scratch but, on the other hand, it cleaned up pretty easily too.

I found Meguiars #6 applied with a white pad did a good job to fix normal swirls (if the owner ever wants a refresh).

Did you ask them how they managed to scratch *under* the "530i" badge (top photo)?
