I've started dampsanding my sister's summer car this afternoon
a 2001 eclipse spyder from floride with a custom paint that was done this winter, the painter did not want to wetsand the car so i offered to cut down 500$ on the price and i would do it.
here's how it started (well not really,I forgot to take pictures of the hood before)
process is wash with ONR,path dry, spritz water then dampsand with 3000 grit sanding disc on GG DA, remove sanding marks with presta ultra cutting creme on rotary and wool pad,DA pass with orange pad and meguiars ultimate compound followed by a pass on green pad with optimum finish topped with meguiars 16.
before (the car looks like this all around)
after dampsanding
after polishing
representing M16
after everything
a shot of the car (a part of the car where i polished it)
tell me what you think
